    I am very frustrated...I live alone..in delhi from 2monts I am not able to study due to mobile addiction or feeling sleepy after breakfast...and also time table...not able to sleep at night....bcz of which not able to go for my yoga classes

      I too came across this issues... I provide few suggestions which helped me to mitigate to some extent that
      Sleep 10minz when u feel sleepy
      Have fruits and juice instead of morning breakfast
      Have very some quantity of tea or coffee every 2hrs...

      I faced the same problem. I joined the library and since then things have been going well. I have a rule not to use mobile phone while on the table.

    I haven’t opened any social media platform since I watched your video sir , I’ve uninstalled many online games and insta and I felt much better , initially it’s tough but later on I felt much better after doing it .
    My takeaway from this video are
    1) understand the dopamine patterns and the reason why you’ve addicted to it
    2) Try to get dopamine through good hobbies
    3) Avoid all social media platforms
    4) Better to use a keypad phone
    5) Stop checking the phone the moment you wake up
    6) Try to browse anything in laptop rather than phone

    Sir I literally switched off my phone for 10 days and kept in cupboard. Initial 3,4 days I was irritated because of not having phone but after 5th day I feel more focused, clam mind ,stopped overthinking of unnecessary things and I also used to do meditation which helped me to look around myself,my strength and weakness and it boosted me very much...
    Sir I will be very grateful to meet you as I also live in Mumbai 🙏❤

    . Mute notification of RUclips
    . don't use phone in the morning and also not at bed time
    . just exploring something else which give me happiness
    . Follow any hobbies
    . Reward your self
    . Not need to motivation video
    . Just focus on your self.

    Did it. Watched it around 12: 40 pm yesterday and didn't open any Social Media app or RUclips untill 1:00 pm today. I used WhatsApp to check messages..I'll be honest, but not more than for 10 minutes. This is not enough, have to do it everyday. Have to minimise it to the least. Putting it here to motivate myself.     Sir I'm 20, you really suggested a good advice. I don't have insta or twitter or facebook but sometime I used to watch utube shorts (that's also the same thing) but liked that you told not to look at morning into ur 📱 but at night and I actually no need of E-mail Id 😅 right now but may be later. Thanks not only for making youth aware but also to give better pleasure and healthy life, keep focused on the things that we actually needed. I will definitely try and make it MY HABIT.😊

    Challenge completed sir👍...what I learnt from this video...now a days lot of informations are available in social media but 30 mins shorts will never help to clear the exams because recalling is the vital role for examination but if we recalling the short we use mobile again so distract easily...whatever 1 time writting practice is powerfull than 10 times reading...if we avoid this addiction just avoid the soft copies highly preferred hard copies...

    Sir, I have just shifted to my hostel where I don't have a phone. Earlier I used to have at my home where I was addicted to it. My entire morning productivity used to get wasted because that.
    Now, I keep a laptop with me but still somewhere addicted to youtube videos.
    I have accepted 💯the challenge sir.

    Yesterday I watched your video around 1pm. Till now I didn't open youtube or any other social media. This is the 1st comment I ever made in youtube. I have been started my upsc preparation from 2022. Next will be my 2nd attempt in 2024. Currently going through somany struggles and stress I don't want to quit this journey. While accepting your challenge I really don't know that I can do that. But now I did it. It is pleasure to share this with you sir

    Today morning when I woke up, for the first time in ages I did not check for my mobile until it was time to leave for office.

    I watched you video yesterday and switched my phone off immediately, and kept it in the cupboard (away from my sight)
    I was reminded of something but i hold the urge and now i am here after 24 hrs
    I restarted it to comment and will switch it off again,
    Really, yesterday was so peaceful, even i did mediation after so long, otherwise i used to scoll news on phone thinking they're helping me.

    I too suffer from washroom syndrome😂.
    Uninstalled insta ,fb after delhi riots, hated tik tok.but the youtube shorts got me.
    But there is hope. I planted some veggies and fruit plants, take care of them in my free time. Still a long way to go from youtube shorts.
    Sir said the right thing about going for a walk, or just sitting with yourself.
    If possible, grow some plants. The new growths always makes you happy and you never feel boredom.

    It been a month since i deleted all my soical media account. I have reduced my screen time to 1-2 hour a day except that i use youtube but I am trying to do that too. I opened my youtube and now after seeing your video i hope that i reduce my screentime. Yes sir it really feels very good after deleting all social media app.

I have to admit it was more difficult than I thought it would be. But in the end I am happy and more focused than yesterday 🙏

Yahhh it is a good feel and you said it true many more times to urge my mind to use mobile but I'm sincerely aware and I'm only listening to my thoughts so it actually helps to cut down my unnecessary thought for using my mobile . Thank you sir. I know I'm not getting from your mail id but meet one day IAS officer . ❤

    Hello Sir , my self Aayush and I am in my 1 st year of BA and preparing for CSE along with it .I have watched youur entire video till end twice . I am not on any social media , I had jio cinema and hotstar which I deleted right after your video .
    I am not using my phone till 11 AM morning from last 7 days , I also have set a personal goal of not using phone for a day in week , I named it as " A DAY WITHOUT PHONE " which I set to saturday . I used my phone for 42 minutes on last Saturday out of which 31 minutes were for " focus to do app " which I use for promodoro technique . Didn't open whatsapp & YT on Saturday .

    Good morning sir... One thing I understood was unless we are DETERMINED not to use our phones, we can't stop it. Most of the days even after scheduling the whole day I would end up staying up late in the night because I'll think that I've studied for the whole day now why can't I enjoy the ''me time'' but last night was not the same... I slept at 11 and in the morning I'm awake now @6... I believe that one day I'll become an IAS OFFICER and share all my experience with you sir❤

    few months back till july I was a smoker 24 years of age done Msc and preparing for state pcs ....suddenly my 7 long year of relationship ended .I was going through a lot of pain. But decided to quit everything sugar short video drinking smoking (I call it s3d)... tried many things initial 1 month for me was quiet tough ...I was not able to focus anywhere...And then I included daily workout in my schedule and not looking at the phone in first and last 1 hr of my day.. and after every week when the screen time app shows the percentage of decreasing avg screen time I just feel happy ... today 17th dec its been 4months and I am able to keep a large distance from s3d just trying to focus more on prep and self growth ...dont know whether I will be a civil servant or not but one thing for sure this has done a lot of change to my character...

    some important lesson that i learned from it
    1 self commitment for not using so much phone
    2 mute notification of useless app or even hide and delete these app which not going to help in upsc journey
    3 avoid phone inwashroom or me time
    4 try to get rid to other addiction like tea or coffee to

    Sir i am facing the same situation. Sometimes during study hours, koi current affairs ki video dekhni ho xa daily mcqs solve karte karte fizool mai dance videos dekhne lag jata hu aur kabhi cricket matches etc. i want to detoxify my mind from all these things. mobile k bina life chalna bhi mushkil hai .. nahi toh bank mai hi jama karwa deta isko taki distractions hi khatam ho jaaye. Kitna time life ka faltu cheez mai barbaad nahi karna chahta.. but control nahi ho pata

    I didn't open RUclips or any other SMA. But I have taken one WhatsApp call for argent manner and also back call. (total 2-3 min)

    What a coincidence it was
    Due to some health reasons and my carelessness I was not able to manage my studies
    And since last 2 days i dont know how but i was only using phone
    Yesterday night only i decided not to use any social media... RUclips or anything
    Morning 11Am i watched your video and after that now i am opening RUclips
    I tried your method (talking to myself that after finishing geography we will watch something) and because of that i didn't use phone full day
    Ending my day now

    Sir,i am 25 years old...i come from a lower middle class family...from my adulthood i have dreamt of giving upsc.. seeing my family condition,after graduation i started ssc then banking preparation...now if everything goes well i will become an officer in regional rural bank...sir, to be honest when i saw my scorecard of mains exam i knew that there is 90% chance that i will be selected and in that moment i was finally happy because now i can start my actual journey..i don't care if i will get selected or not..i just want to gain knowledge..that all encompassing knowledge that i can get from this exam..i am very excited for this..i have been watching your videos for a long time...being there in the main administrative body of the country..it is so nice of you that you find time for such students.I want to develop such personality.

    I usually go walk and do yoga
    I uninstalled WhatsApp even before like before 4 months and maintaining it in laptop .. because it's unable to open all the time ... In this way I changed

    1.promise ourselves or make a resolution mentally to accept the heavenly difficulty in thus preparation.Make master of your brain
    2.Rewarding ourselves after the pain
    3. Figuring out phone using times and eliminate them to possible extent
    4. Deleting social media or addiction apps
    5. Using some hidden apps
    6. Finding some hobby.
    I accepted your challenge and changing my mobile.Also I haven't used mobile today.

    Jai hind sir ,I am so happy that I have completed my 24 hr challenge. It's not like I watch other content than study on youtube but still we don't get to know that how much time we have spend on it. I always like to do offline study but still unintentionally I take a lot of help of youtube but sometimes it also waste our time . But in this 24 hr my screen time was just 16 min on Google,i even avoid it. I don't know what I lost but yes I saved my eyes for 24 hr.

    It's 24hour and 4 minutes gone by and now I have opened my phone. I didn't touched neither laptop, phone nor tablet it was infront of me for last 24 hour. Many time I was going to lift phone for pass time but I remembered your words and not touched the phone rather I picked up a book i felt good , controlling one self is very difficult. I am thinking that I will use smart phone, laptop or tablet every Sunday for searching study material whose list i would have , which I will make during studying in a note. Although I had minimised the social media from last year but not been able to detach from youtube. Thank you for your suggestions.🙏🙏🙏

    Sir I finished watching this video at 1.15pm yesterday. Sir i don't have the Instagram and Twitter apps on my phone. I only have RUclips and WhatsApp, so I decided to stop using them for 24 hours and I did it sir . After completing 24 hours, I'm here writing this 🙏

    This was very much needed sir..
    Thankyou for this valuable message and this is really gonna help everyone who's gonna watch it.
    We somewhere lag behind at places due to our own negligence, especially the use of these gadgets for a longer period, but then at the end, max of the studies can be done with the books... So phone is not an important requirement at all.
    Limited use of everything is the sign of wisdom in one person, otherwise that thing only becomes the reason for one's downfall!!!

    Points to be followed
    1 .happiness chemical dopamine
    2 . rewarding pain instead of pleasure
    3. Not to use mobiles early in the mornings and late nights.
    4.turning off notifications if using any kind of social media.
    5.having a hobby in free time in order to relax other than social media.
    Sir as per my understanding i learnt these from u i actually try to follow these in my day to day preparation to upsc but i fail after watchingur video i really took the challenge serious
    I can't say i did it 100% but upto my extent i max tried not using 95 percent .
    I hope the interaction with u might help me alot to move forward in my preparation.
    Ur really an inspiration to many and thank you sir

    Sir I have watched your video yesterday at 1.25x but the moment you said not to skip any part of this video I switched it to 1x and completed challenge of not opening any social media app. Still today now I have opened RUclips for commenting on this video. I have been preparing for UPSC CSE 2024 but running out of time please guide me.. What to do next.

    I have deleted some mobile games which i had downloaded to play after a study. I did not have any social media app. actually, i did delete those distracting apps when i first started studying UPSC.

    Highly agreed.
    our brain have become used to cheap dopamine and the moment you try to get rid. the withdrawal is so bad you find other cheap alternatives like self gratification, RUclips shorts and other such stuff.

    had watched the entire video yesterday around 11.20/30, it's been almost a day now - I kept my promise, and didn't open any social media app.
    (I did feel the urge to do so every now and then, but I immediately controlled it, thanks to your positive reinforcement)
    I will continue this exercise regardless of the incentive because the biggest incentive was to complete more tasks than I usually do.

    I take this challenge. Now I m going to delete my youtube because i dnt use instagram or anything but utube. So uninstalling my youtube now.
    Tomorrow at 10 am i will open it for daily current affairs video. And after completing that, i will come to your video to mention that i completed the challenge or not.
