I have to maintain a good batch rank in law school in order to maintain the scholarship and the academics are quite hectic. I am able to read the newspaper in under 50 min and my basics are there, since I had topped the law entrance which also had an emphasis on newspaper and current affairs.
Sir, I am in dilemma whether to move to delhi with a friend just for self study for discipline purpose and changing environment(home has a bit of distraction) . been planning this and cancelling these since last yr because even after having experience of living in congested pgs in delhi during college days and no open space, area etc(in vicinity like in home terrace, neighbourhood), I feel kind of scary to move there. and having 2nd attempt(didn't cleared prein 1st) feels a bit monotonous and saturation that I am not being productive(in terms of pursuing masters or doing job and not even giving adequate attention to my health which also gives mood swings out of some headache or lower back pain). so was planning to move to delhi for self study till pre and then join some tests for mains(if qualified) but since have experience of online coaching and test series, I am comfortable with it considering time saving(travel etc + good emotional support in home which is much required) . So I get confused whether I should listen to my real instincts or is it a mere excuse to not come out of my comfort zone. What's your suggestion sir?
I am a state govt employee..and have to do daily journey of total 3 hours ..and i have no other option so i use that 3 hours of bus journey..and after coming back i am trying to give 2 or 3 hour..and in holidays i give 8 to 10 hours..

Hello sir I started upsc preparation in November 2021 when i joined a coaching institute. But the course ended in 4-5 montgs,ie, before prelims , which left me without a proper guidance . I felt blank not knowing what to do as i was from a science background. I appeared for prelims so that i would get an idea. Then from July 2022 i joined for sociology optional classes & a mains answer writing program. I was preparing from home. I couldn't clear the 2023 prelims. During that time i shifted to z hostel, but was very useless because of very much distractions where i couldn't even study 3 hours a day. These made issues in my family & i shifted back home. After that i was mentally down & it led to a long gap of 6-7 months (June to November). Recently in December i resumed my studies. But i feel so low in confidence with the regret of having wasted my time. Sir please do suggest some ways to overcome these.

I just want to ask about one thing that you mentioned in the video that in the syllabus of CSE examination there is about 40% of the portion(if we apply the "80:20 RULE") , that holds more weightage as compare to the rest of the topics that are mentioned . Sir can you please let us know how to identify that 40% portion or just help us in enlisting those topics . It would be of great help 🙏
