I wouldn't mind watching you manually fight the battles were the balance of power in your favour. It's just satisfying to watch the Roman military power crush its enemies.
Is it better to go for North Africa and egypt in the beginning, and then go for greece? I always start with Gaul and Germania, but that takes a really long time.
Gaul and Germania are some real shitty areas. What you should go for is Africa, Egypt, Greece. The provinces that either provides you with grain supplies, or faction wide public order
Bladespaid So it would be best to start with the Etruscan League, then ignore Veniti and go for Carthage. After Carthage go trough Libya into Egypt, or just ignore Lybia?
Secure your North border, South border, West border and East border. Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women. That is good.
I'd say the replenishment is as big if not bigger problem as autoresolve in the new TW games. You autoresolve a battle, lose 30% of the entire army like Legend did in the beginning of this video, then just shrug it off, who cares, the men will be back in a couple of turns. I see it in my own play as well, losses that would be absolutely devastating in RTW or Medieval 2, cripple that army's advancement for years until you re-trained the units, are a no-biggie in the new games. That's definitely not how it should be, you shouldn't be able to shrug off the loss of a thousand men of elite infantry. So if CA were to fix the auto-resolve issue, fixing the op autoresolve needs to happen as well
I got this game around 3 months-ish after it came out, and honestly it was super hard. mainly I had problems with public order always being really low.
Ikr, i dont like how Legend is being so ambiguous and uncaring with his fanbase's concern on the existence of the 3rd or 4th Civil war. IS a FIFTH civil WAR possible? THAT IS THE QUESTION.
I dunno if it's because I've been playing Rome Total war since I was 7 but I just found all the mechanics really easy to understand. I'm just looking at my friend now who just bought the game and I'm just stunned at how he doesn't get it that encircling the enemy is gonna make them break super fast 😂
I would like to see a weird unit like mostly (not all) but archers 'r Calves with of course legionnaires.Standared all day make yawn with manual battles of tho it's good fight.
i began to hear it a few episodes ago: there is background noice (i dont know the english Word). Its a bit irritating. You might want to clear out your recorded voice with noice reduction a bit better (?), if your not doing it yet (since you pre-record)
It kills me every time you fire artillery. You know by now to manually aim slightly in front of whatever you're trying to hit. Trying to hit the wall? Aim for the bottom of the wall! So many wasted shots :'(

Nothing can stop the empire!
Westeebs everywhere
And once again I spend 6 hours watching some ozzy bloke play TW instead of just playing it myself...

Well Africa and Egypt make for good gold, and taking out the factions with better High tier units early makes it easier later on in the game.

Droplul take Libya. There's a grain settlement they have.

well, one turn is a year, so if it takes 3 turns to recover, it actually took three years.
What about Shogun 2? I'd cry if I lost 30% of my army in that game.

*comments about civil war incoming*
Well you never know, is a third civil war possible? I mean, he didn't show us proof of it yet :D

This is like cancer. And you know what cancers do? Spread like crazy :D

is it possible to get a second civil war in Skyrim?
In minute 1:50 to 2, is very funny how the champion after guarding that city for several years, sadly vanish like.. "My job here is DONE"
Hey Legend plz add some Thracian warriors and elephants into your armies to truly make them doom stakes
I like how every end turn it's about 5 factions like hey give us ten thousand gold and we can trade and have a non agression pact
Oh my god, get that tier 3 horse breeder and upgrade your cavalry to 15% faster run speed. Your cavalry runs with the pace of a wounded elephant
Ximen It annoys me aswell, that he doesn't upgrade his horsemen haha
I wish I was this damn good at this game.
He sucks at the manual battles though

you can always dismount your guard to help withyour battle

When my civil war ended, I didn't get the option to select Roman Empire or Roman Republic. Does anyone know why that may be? Thank you :)
Which faction did you play? And which kind of campaign?
Grand campaign, or Imperator Augustus?
grand campaign bud
You have to end the civil war, end the turn, and then you'll get the option
i did bro, its been like 10 turns now since xD

Those manual battles were shit. Stick to auto resolve
