I have a challenge for you.. I had normal good skin up until about 10 years ago (i'm 44) and then my forehead decided my life was too easy and it wanted to make it less so. My forehead peels..constantly. I've tried every lotion possible..including burts bees foot balm in an attempt to tame the flakes.. it laughed and flaked anyway within an hour. Nowadays I use an oil-based cleanser 1x a day along with hemp oil in place of a traditional moisturizer and still within and hour or so I'm peeling again. I recently heard about lactic acid (the ordinary 5%) and I intend to try it. my question is what moisturizer should I pair it with.. plz keep in mind I dont have time or money for an insanely indepth skincare routine but as we are going into winter when the flakes are at their fiercest, I am ready to try something new. I have no hope that I will ever be able to wear any makeup other than eyeliner/lipstick.. but it would be nice to not constantly look like I tried to hug the sun. (oh.. just fyi.. my dr said this is caused from my hypothyroidism.. I have no thyroid.. so I'm like this for life.. just need to find a way to manage it. )

Please keep doing this type of videos of more drugstore skincare products 💗
I use old spice volcano deoderant and I love it! It doesn't smell like when I was on Kilauea though! When I was on Mt. Kilauea, the steam vents smelled like boiling pasta! 😂 the deoderant does not smell like boiling pasta!
Omg Cody Ko’s Jeremy Fragrance videos are the best! I like to think Jeremy Fragrance must be your arch nemesis 🤣
I have a challenge for you.. I had normal good skin up until about 10 years ago (i'm 44) and then my forehead decided my life was too easy and it wanted to make it less
so. My forehead peels..constantly. I've tried every lotion possible..including burts bees foot balm in an attempt to tame the
flakes.. it laughed and flaked anyway within an hour. Nowadays I use an oil-based cleanser 1x a day along with hemp oil in place of a
traditional moisturizer and still within and hour or so I'm peeling again. I recently heard about lactic acid (the ordinary 5%) and I intend to try it.
my question is what moisturizer should I pair it with.. plz keep in mind I dont have time or money for an insanely indepth skincare
routine but as we are going into winter when the flakes are at their fiercest, I am ready to try something new. I have no hope that I will
ever be able to wear any makeup other than eyeliner/lipstick.. but it would be nice to not constantly look like I tried to hug the sun. (oh..
just fyi.. my dr said this is caused from my hypothyroidism.. I have no thyroid.. so I'm like this for life.. just need to find a way to manage
it. )
Is it an issue for your skin if you use a regular moisturizer instead of an oil?
@@gabiencina4053 yes very much so.. usually within a few mins it will get really bad if i use a lotion.. the oil will buy me about an hour.
Gold bond had a new fragrance free body lotion that looks great! Contains Hyaluronic acid and Urea. It’s called Gold Bond Pure Moisture. And dove has the new body was for Eczema. DOVE Irritation Care. Fragrance free and contains petrolatum 👌

Wow you have a superpower here, thank you form doing this!🌿
“POWER SERUM! POWER!” I laughed out loud
Who says that? I came to the comments searching for the name of the influencer who says that.
Doc, you are a lifesaver. Love you
Lol since dr dray is nornally a strait to the point and calm women ao I was startled when she said "POWER SERUM" lol
Love the in store!
Wondering your thoughts on effectiveness of L’Oréal’s Revitalift Pressed Night cream (with Retinol and Niacinamide)
Wait, where was the - Well, hey guys . . . 😀😀😀
😂😃 Also definitely know the you tuber who says POWER! Hehehe
Whenever I use hair serums with coconut oil in it, I get pimples the next day. sadly.
Hyaluronic acid not a great idea in Colorado. It's so very dry here. Doc Drey taught me that me that in her videos.
Yes, a number of derms/estys try and tell folks about that. That's why they might recommend other moisturizers with humectants like glycerin, beta glucan, polyglutamic acid, etc.
I've started telling my cat to "sunscreen and subscribe!"
Lol 😂
I miss Walgreens. When we can travel again, it’s one of my first stops. Does this mean I’m getting wiser 🤣 happy Friday!
Love Walgreens
I miss well stocked stores! I live in the Pacific NW, our stores suck.
Walgreens prices are outrageous! You can find the same exact products at Walmart for less
@@palestar828 right!
@@palestar828 I love Walmart!!! Walgreens does carry some brands that Walmart doesn’t, but I always tell people that the best time to actually shop at Walgreens is when they’re having sales. They do have some great sales during the year. Otherwise, Wally World it is!!! 😂
Got the Kerosel foot ointment per your recommendation...
Amazing💜
Works so well 👍🏼
I have been to 2 volcanoes and they definitely have a sulfur smell. Not a great smell 😜
I get to relax and learn with these videos 💜🌸
Coconut oil from the neck down is great; I even shave with it. I cannot use it on my face, it breaks me out really bad.
I recently got Bioderma micellar water .....it's the only micellar water I've ever used. It doesn't burn my eyes at all. Bioderma invented micellar water. (from what I've heard).
Really appreciate you explaining ingredients....it's wonderful having a board-certified dermatologist tell us what various ingredients are, what they do. I think most of us look at the ingredient lists & haven't a clue what all of them are....but now we have a much better idea , thanks to Dr. Dray.
"How is Vaseline helping us not age? Putting us in a pickle jar?" 😄😄 Cute.
I was hoping you may mosey over to the as seen on TV rack because the verbiage there would be worthy of admission! 💴 🍿 Great job with this Friday shop with me video have a wonderful weekend Dray! ☕️🌸⭐️
Kudos dr dray... impressively improved steadiness of hand/camera! Love these videos... but sometimes I get motion sickness 😳
I use Aveeno shampoo.
I take B12 supplements and I have acne (I always had acne) and I forgot to take it for a week and my breakouts improved, so I’m wondering if that has something to do with it. Thanks Dr. Dray! :-)
Happy Friday Dr Dray! I love your shop with me videos, your personality really shines through!
