Thanks again Chuck, this was a fun collab! Hopefully I can show the panther car community something useful and informative when I fix the accumulator. Great ending btw lol
Right on Dylan, Thanks again for your participation, I really appreciate it. When I found out you're from San Antone, I kept thinking about that "Double Fisted Churro Guy" and his love for big wamen. LMAO -Chuck
Great win for Dylan!!! It's great to see young guys come on here and try to learn and "Panzer" is a great guy and we all love helping the younger guys learn and come into "panther" land.... great cars, great guys, fun times, many happy miles ahead!!!
Good to see you’re still helping everyone out with their panther car problems. For some reason I have never had a cel on any of my vehicles. I got a misfire on the 04 marquis and still no cel. Gonna dig into that problem soon. Take care Chuck.
Alright! I can't wait to see what Dylan's fixes will be! Now I just gotta get my ass in motion with the vent solenoid swap! Thanks again for the consideration, Chuck! And please don't be sorry, this gave me the motivation to get a move on!
Yup, I plan to keep y'all posted when I get to replacing the accumulator this summer, along with the fuel gauge issue down the road. Good luck with replacing the vent solenoid!
Broken 1-2 accumulator spring maybe on the shifting issue? Seems like a fuel level sending unit or maybe a bad connection to it for the gauge issue. Who knows though, I could be full of 💩. Love that there is still a community around these cars!
Right on Ian, Thanks for watching, and the good feedback. BTW, I don't think I've seen you around here before. Welcome to the club, prepare to be disappointed. Lol -Chuck
You know how they make kit cars? Like you can buy and build your own Cobra or 69 Camaro or whatever? Why don't they make Kit Panther cars? Why can't I just buy my own 2022 Crown Vic kit and build it proper with a LS3 or LT1 engine? Chuck, make this happen. You've got connections. Make Kit Cars Great Again!
0:38 Harsh 1-2 upshift is usually a broken spring in the accumulator piston in the valve body. Very easy fix.... you can fix this yourself, very easy... its harmless really to keep driving it like this, but you can gas the car hard and then let up off the gas and let it shift into 2nd with your foot not on the gas much and as soon as it shifts- go back on the gas and move on up the road....
Right on Freddy, Thanks for stopping by with the expert analysis. Dylan will be sure to appreciate that. What do you got for his DTC P0460 Fuel Gauge always reading max full? -Chuck
Right on Capn' Thanks for stopping in. I thought the paint on my 2004 Vic was good. Buy, Dylan's 2001 MGM looks even better. I hope WJ Handy Dad doesn't see your comment. lol -Chuck
Hello I have a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria I have check engine light he says miss fire cylinder number 6 me I don't know which one is cylinder number 6 Can you teach me how to arrange the cylinders
I’m having an issue with my crown vic. When I put my vehicle in reverse, the trunk pops open. I installed a new pcm sometime last year & I’ve had this problem every since I replaced that part. 🤔
@@JayHeru OK. This sounds like a good old fashioned electrical problem. You're going to need access to a wiring diagram, and a basic multimeter, and test light. You're going to be looking for a short to ground, or short to hot. Look for damaged, chaffed, exposed wires. -Chuck
