Wow, what an adventure. I hope Brian is recovering well. As always, great tunes too! Thanks for sharing.

Brian took it like a champ. He ended up having pretty severe bone breakage but is coming along well. Thanks for watching!

Love the adventures. I own a 96 Dr350se with pumper carb and a whole bunch of things that I’ve done over the years. 6 gears is the way to go.. anywho, quick question. What front fender and headlight fairing are you using? Looks good and I’d like to add them to mine. Happy adventures!!!

Appreciate it! Headlight shroud is from a DRZ and fender is made by Polisport for the RM125

How did you mount that case on the back of the bike?

I used the roller rails for a computer desk's keyboard drawer for the mounting system then a thumb screw to keep it in place

Are those blue and red gauges of yours always showing random numbers like that? or is it the camera. What are they measuring ?

Blue is temperature and red is time. They don't flash in person that's just from the camera shutter speed

What camera are you using? I'm not necessarily interested in motovlogging but I'd like to have video evidence if I get in ab accident or some such happening. Yours looks really good, a lot of cameras seem to handle motion quite poorly.

DJI Osmo Action 1. Best action cam I've owned yet. If I were you I'd get the Osmo Action 3 since it's a little updated though

@@mtnmotoadv Thanks for the reply, I'll have to look into it. I actually stumbled across your channel recently trying to research the DR350. Really strikes that goldilocks balance for a dual sport imo. Good content for sure.

The DR350 definitely hit a sweet spot. Very capable off road yet with the right gearing can cruise 65-70mph on the freeway no problem. Had mine 3 years so far and have no plans to get rid of it, in fact will probably run it till it blows up, rebuild the engine and run it to the grave a second time

How much do these old dual sports suck on the road? I'm considering a dr350 or a xr400, are they tolerable if I need to do 1-3h highway rides to the trails?

I've done plenty of 2+ hour stretches on pavement doing 55-65mph. I wouldn't want to ring it out 3 hours straight 75mph on the freeway but with a good seat and tall gearing you can cruise pavement no problem. The DR350 also has a 6th gear which helps. Biggest concern would just be burning oil
