  • In this video we take the old Suzuki DR350 and cross over the Cascade mountain range into the Rogue Siskyou Forest and up to Crater Lake National Park, and make quite a few interesting stops along the way.

    Very nice ride I always do paper ,rock, scissors with the Harley riders. You know they mostly do scissors, so you can always win with rock, but I let them win sometimes with paper.

    I love crater lake !!! Pictures just don't capture the blue of the deep blue of the lake !!! Love the DR350.... got rid of it because it was kick start only. An electric start one is on my list of desired bikes to have. Great video looking forward to watching more !!

    Great video! Harley dudes lol😂. I don’t sweat it I wave to everyone no matter what they are riding. I don’t expect a wave back. Though most of the pirates don’t wave back even though I’m on a Harley a lot of the time.
    Ride safe! Subbed

    Nice tour to include Natural Bridge. Very interesting on the Whaleback cabin roof entrance due to snow level. I've never seen a cabin with one of those before. I've been to Crater Lake a couple of times but never on a motorcycle. It's on my list to ride and watching your video has put this place to see again high up on the list. Speaking of high up, I thought it was funny they now have to put "no weed" signs at trailheads. Thanks for sharing.

      This was my 2nd time going to Crater Lake on a motorcycle. Such a fun experience and being on a bike puts you right in the middle of it all instead of being closed away in a car. Lots of really interesting things to see in the area too, I plan on making another trip next spring/summer to check out more of the local OHV trails and POI's. Thanks for watching!

    Hey hey! Are you running stock rear suspension, or did you do anything specific with it? Thanks in advance, loved the video!

      Rear suspension is stock as far as I'm aware unless the previous owner did something. The front suspension though is taken from an RM250 and handles the off road really well. Thanks for watching I'm glad you enjoyed it!

      Thank you! The song is "Old Folks" by Pario Marty. I'd recommend listening to the whole album, it's a good one

    Whats your top comfortable highway speed? Both in terms of bike rpm and ride quality

    • @mtnmotoadv
      @mtnmotoadv  Год назад

      I have a 15/39 sprocket setup so it's pretty tall gearing. 60-65mph is the ideal cruising speed imo, it'll do 70 but that starts getting into the higher rpms for cruising. The bike feels surprisingly solid on the freeway for how tall and light it is, I've done 80mph with knobbies and the bike handles it well.
