They have a Sirius channel called Hair Nation that plays "hair metal" from the 80s and early 90s. Though I hate the "hair metal" stigma, it's probably one of the only places on the radio you will hear this song. Obviously Extreme is way too talented to be lumped into a category of average hard rock/metal bands.
I think we can say Nino is one of the best guitarists that ever lived and not enough credit given for his guitar and creative ability. How he remembers everything is amazing. I’ve been playing 40 years and wish I had his guitar craft

I agree, so much stuff happening at the same time, lavishyly sprawling ideas. Also Nuno managed to stand out at a time when we were blessed with many guitar gods. But tbh i didn't realize this until all the guitar teaching videos on youtube, Nili Brosh for example.

They are, still pretty big now. They have, been playing sellout shows all over. I got to see them in STL when they were, hear a month ago, and are, absolutely killer.

This song is still awesome! That hair, ‘90s neon colors, and the dancing chics though...😂 Makes me year for good times back in the day! The hair... I had a mullet when this song came out. Cherone now looks like he got a haircut and then stuck his finger in a light socket. However, I still think his pipes are among, if not, the best in the industry. And Nuno’s talent, well there are no words...
This is just total CLASSIC! I´ve been listening to them as a 6-year old kid, and now when I´m almost 19, I´m still "deca-dancing" to this rock´n´roll madness!!! :-D Nuno is awesome!
Nuno not only looks good but he is such a talented guitar player and musician. I became a fan when I heard the song Play With Me. I have been hooked ever since. I bought the first album because Nuno and Gary looked good on the cover so I bought it, took it home and was blown away. Been a fan ever since. The looks got me but the music kept me. Extreme is highly underrated. I have every record I could get my hands on by them. When they stopped making music together my heart was broken. No other band sounds like them. So much talent in these four guys. I am so happy they're back and being praised with their new album. They deserve all the success. Nothing compares to Extreme.
These guys are on tour right now and I just saw them live. They put on an unbelievable show. Talk about incredible musicians and performers. I was blown away and wish I had the money to travel to whichever city they are performing in next.

The most amazing thing about Nuno, is his ability to mix percussion and guitar playing. He has a strong sense of rithm and percussion, and uses that while playing. Maybe SRV did something similar, but a completely different style.
1st time I saw Extreme I was 14 yrs old at a club called "The Living Room" omg I will never forget the 1st show literally being crushed in the front up against the stage...Still feel 14 when I see them live...nothing compares to an Extreme live show, you will lose 10 lbs just from all the moving ...idc who's watching me I dance the whole damn show 😂
At first glance it's easy to miss but the video works perfectly with the song to satirise everything INCLUDING the common music of the time... Extreme has a way of trolling their listeners in such a intellegent way that you only really "get" some of their songs after a while and then have to be impressed with the multiple layers of meaning infused into it.
The satire still hits home in 2022, maybe even more than in the '90s. I remember reading the lyric sheet in the disc leaflet, and thinking... "So, basically, the record is about taking a deep breath, counting to ten, and using a little common sense for once". Still think it's hilarious that people bought this disc based on "More Than Words"
Nuno's tone and aggressive punch on his guitar was so in your face it made a lot of guitarists back then re-think their own guitar sound.....Pornograffiti was one of the most creative rock albums of the 90's.
I dated the drummers cousin for quite some time back in the day…Loved their stories of when his cousin would ask him to come listen to the band playing in their garage in Boston…Funny enough this guys name was Vinny…Yes cousin Vinny but not like in the movie lol How I wish I could hear from him now…He was a super sweet guy!!

Maybe because they were not in the right place at the right time? Grunge and alternative music took over very sound.
They were in heavy radio and MTV rotation at the end of this album cycle and through the III Sides album. Then grunge happened.
