Mirror's Edge Freefall - A Fanmade Animation (Concept Story Trailer)

- When a new threat emerges, an unexpected alliance is formed. A conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of the Conglomerate is revealed, and the revolution gains a face. Mirror's Edge Freefall is the trailer for the game we never got. But that doesn't have to be the case. Use #stillalive and #bringbackmirrorsedge on social media to let EA know you want a sequel.
This project is not affiliated with EA or DICE. It was created for an assignment for "Netflix and Digital Distribution" class of the Film Department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, supervised by Nikolaos Aletras.
Music is "Our Last Stand" and "White Rooftops" by FormantX, with additional instruments added by me.

@michaeltrex, I have a spec pilot screenplay for a Mirror's Edge TV show. I've been polishing it and thinking about submitting to Endemol Shine Studios, the company that bought the TV/Film rights to Mirror's Edge. If you have the time to read it I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I'm in love with this trailer, it matches Catalyst so perfectly. Im also glad there is an Exordium reference, Celeste's Exordium version. I was confused as to why they never included Celeste in Catalyst, so it's fun to see her here!
All in all, the animation quality and the effort in everything else is amazing to me. Wish for a new Mirror's Edge like this.

I think that it just needs as simple of a story as possible. DICE has shown twice that they can't handle a complex plot.

I grew up playing mirrors edge and mirrors edge catalyst. I've been a big fan of Faith and her loving and het adventurers story...this litterly left me speechless, goosebumps were all over my body. Great job! Keep it up!

Astonishing performance…
I come back to this vid every once in a while to get some insparation. For what you might ask? Since the day i saw this vid for the first time i've been working on a story for a new fandmade Mirrors Edge (ME Freefall) with lots of characters, missions and an open world like environment (With some areas that are not open world ofc) which acts kinda like a replacement for MEC. My Project is still very far from completion but i'm slowly and surely getting there.

the quality of this feels like it genuinely could have been a real E3 trailer for a new ME game, it was super well done choice for the score was tastefully implemented, and really captured the feel of the games in sound visual and spirit, you did a fantastic job on this.

First things first, they need to release a remaster of the first game, second, let's talk about a new Mirror's Edge game. Third, a series or a movie.
a series on like HBO would probably serve better than a movie, I feel with how Mirrors edge is paced it'd be hard to cram it all into a movie adaptation, while making it an episodic show would allow each episode to naturally progress the storyline in a more fluid manner that wouldn't run as much of a risk feeling forced or rushed. could even make it like 2 seasons long first season being Catalyst since technically it's a prequel, and season 2 could be the first games story trying to clear faith's sisters name from being framed for a murder she never did.

Mirrors Edge Catalyst was truly one of my most favourite gaming experiences, I am in love with that game, I found this by complete accident and loved it so damned much. VERY well done on this.
That looked like celeste with yellow shirt , she was in the comics as part of the game reboot but with a different background I think
That's who it's supposed to be! The model is actually a modified version of the model from the first game because her new design was weirdly close to her old one. Just changed the colour of the shirt and the head.

Hey, this is absolutely fantastic! Good job. The music, the voice acting, the environments, the cinematics, it's all stellar. So, I'm interested; how did you come to acquire the assets from Catalyst, and which engine/software did you use?
I used the modding tools to export the models and the textures and used Blender for the rest of it. Also Mixamo for the majority of the animations.

At first, I was surprised that this has 800 views already. After watching, I realized that there's probably 50 of us who have it on loop. I can really tell how much effort went into this. Yeah, the voice lines are cheesy... but that's exactly how the real thing would be. This is more ME3 content than I ever expected to see. Thank you.

I don't know how much of this is taken from other clips and how much is made from scratch (if from scratch it's epic amazing), but someone (a fan) really needs to make a ME3 I have seen this done with Tomb Raider Dagger of Xian (a fan made or remade a level it was great I played it), I would LOVE to see a fan make that, and who knows maybe he/she could pitch it to a game corporation and get a job out or it, who KNOWS the potential of something like that (the world is your oyster) :D :D :D
Every shot was made from scratch (I did use a lot of assets from Catalyst of course but the shots themselves are original). I really hope I can make something like that too, I've got so many ideas that it sometimes feels like I'll explode if I don't make them real. We'll see! Thanks for your support though!
