  • The Hammer Envy Tour Series gets the HK22 treatment with the Envy Tour Pearl! As I have said many times before and I'll say again, HyperKinetic22 makes every ball that much better!
With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Launch Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Entry Speed - Speed measured at the pins. (What you'd see on your home center MPH screens)
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based on the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

My dad pre ordered 2 envy tour pearls and the extreme envy. To add to his envy tour solid , gb4 hybrid , obsession tour solid, white widow , purple reactive polished , the newer magenta urethane hammer while I have the old version, the copper or caremal widow urethane. While I use spi balls , hyroad x , 2 IQ tour emeralds , a one inch pin layout on the IQ tour solid, gold honey badger, dark code , and my number one favorite the zero gravity.

Got to throw the solid a couple weeks ago at a demo. Wife said I better drill one. Wound up picking this up yesterday instead. Not dissapointed. I'm getting older and don't throw as hard but still have a lot of hand. Absolutely love this thing.

This ball is excellent for a speed dominant bowler "after" the shot breaks down on a league pattern. If used on the fresh it's likely to be skid/flippy, which is not uncommon for a pearl on a fresh shot, but especially for this ball. It rolls so aggressively your speed control will be crucial. But once you are dialed in, Brunsnick is right, you'll make a statement by stringing a ton of strikes.

    • @BowlerJ1
      @BowlerJ1 Год назад

Nick, it appears you disagree with this comment - that's okay. My thinking is that a bowler with soft ball speed (down lane speed about 10 mph) and a rev rate under 250 will probably see this ball roll out at the pocket. If they don't have much hand, they can't play inside the track to store energy, but will need to play either in the track or outside of it. The additional friction to the outside on a house shot will probably cause the ball to read sooner and roll out more quickly, even though the cover is a pearl. I know, there are probably other options that will serve this type of bowler better, but that's my point, and is why I emphasized what type of bowler it would be good for, i.e., speed dominant. Maybe I'm wrong. If so, don't be afraid to point it out. Thanks.

@@brunsnick That's good, honestly. I have a pin-down Ghost and it's real nice and snappy. It sounds like the Envy Tour Pearl will be good for the rare lefty transition or just lighter oil in general. Might even be a Nationals ball next year. Might do this ball pin-down, as well.

how do you know why you love a bowling ball? Is it because its Low RG? Is it because its High Diff and Int Diff? Is it the core and cover stock combo? How can you tell how these cores and covers match to the other offerings from the brands of brunswick? Do they have charts of strengths across brands like other companies do?

    • @brunsnick
