Is that PHR polished? Looks like quite a bit of sheen on it. Just curious, because I throw similar zone to your first shot, but I believe I throw faster/higher revs and my PHR certainly doesn't move as much as yours did
It really does depend. I use a lot of short pin equipment as a high rev guy who likes to play straighter, but you really can't get too deep with them (or you'll get lots of flat hits) and the coverstock still has a huge effect on the overall reaction. The purple reactive will still be generally smooth and mild and early no matter how you drill it. Hope that helps!
Nick did you take the surface down on the widow hybrid at all for the video, because I did on mine just wondering. Thanks bud and enjoy your vids 7:53 man the slow mo was Awesome Nick
What is the BW Legend? Is this the original BW? If so why would it have the word Legend written on it? They say its a hybrid though. Not the red one which I know is a hybrid. Confused
Mr, Brunsnick what happened to Brandon Johnson yes I know he tested only Radical Equipment would be really nice to see him test more Equipment from the other Brands, are you using a JoPo grip
@@brunsnick I have an Obsession Tour, but I was concerned it's not strong enough. I'm 16.5mph and 430-450rpm. I was considering the Envy instead.. but maybe not necessary.
All 3 balls strike from anywhere!!! Great stuff, Nick!!!
Thanks for this! I love the way the Envy Tour shapes from all the different spots. Easiest for my eyes to see.
I LIKE THE SUPER SLOW-MO YOU CAN REALLY SEE HOW THEY ALL FLIP OFF THE SPOT....GREAT VIDEO SIR
I picked up a purple reactive recently and I love it! Thank you for that 3 side by side view! 3 different motions and pin deflection reactions
The purple reactive still looks like a viable option for me. Thanks for the side by side reactions. Keep up the good work! 👏
Cool tech bowling bowling ball Brunsnick
Damn Nick you made them all look fantastic! Now I just don’t know what to do 😅

I threw it after another review so it did have some lane shine on it like the others in this video.
Hi Nick -- Reaching back a little here but how would you compare the new Black Widow 2.0 hybrid to the old Web Tour Hybrid?
Much stronger and more angular. They really aren’t in the same performance category.
Would the purple reactive be a better option that trying to do a short pin on a different ball?
Depends.

Man I am so happy I ended up picking up the black widow 2.0 hybrid what an outstanding ball!
What weight?
Would the purple reactive be a good second ball out of the bag if I start with the dark web solid?
Yes, once the lane has broken down it should give you a little more pop than DW.
@@brunsnick great thank you so much! Your videos are always very helpful!
Between the hybrid and the purple hammer which would you suggest, I currently throw the roto grip.
If you want smoother, Purple. If you want more hook and more flip, Black Widow Hybrid.
Thank you, might just go with the hammer. I used to throw the original the one. I seen the brought it back and amped it up as well.
I've never seen fingers laid-out like what you have. Does this grip have a name? What are the pros/cons?

great video
That purple hammer reactive 🟣 it's soooooo hard ...if Hammer drops one with HK22 I'm buying ten of them
Noted.

Haven’t touched it. It’s perfect OOB
@@brunsnick got cha nick’ This Monday I’m putting it back up & give it another 20 games in, crack it good
what type of thumb are you using?
Ultimate Thumb
@@brunsnick thank you
Throw in an axe, and that looks like a pretty good 4-ball league arsenal 😀
What is the BW Legend? Is this the original BW? If so why would it have the word Legend written on it? They say its a hybrid though. Not the red one which I know is a hybrid. Confused
Legend was an older black widow made in Kentucky. It’s not the original which was made in 2006
Straighter is greater is something someone would say that can’t hook a ball
Time and place for everything.
Anyone can buy as much hook as they want especially if they can control their ball speed.
I would like to see innovator solid vs trail blazers solid
Have at it. 👍🏻

He’s on staff so I’m sure he’s still out there bowling out of Virginia. I use all Ultimate.
Are you bowling on THS?
Yes.
@@brunsnick thank you! I love reviews that show THS cause that all I bowl on. I’m starting to like the BOB equipment a lot
Most everyone bowls on THS, so that’s what I always bowl on.
Hard to believe these balls are 1 year old
I see 3 balls doing about the same 😂
Yeah?
On the reply's you can clearly see the different characteristics of all three balls bro cmon lol
Do you think the Envy is a decent big ball for the first ball out of the bag at the USBC OC?
It probably is but it doesn’t flare a ton, so if you’re more speed dominant, I’d say no.

It’s probably fine, can always add more surface to get you out of the first game or so.
