    That’s such a sick kit!! Will drive like it’s on rails man

    Everything is great, however I really don't understand why long enough bolts for the bump stop spacers weren't provided. Is there at least recommended hardware type ('race grade', etc.,) mentioned in the documentation? Other than that, awesome!

      Yea I would've thought they would include it, no recommended hardware type either and nothing mentioned in the instructions about it.
      I ended up just using the same grade as the original hardware.
      Thanks!

    Great video. Will you need to have the new struts, bump correction blocks and tie rods compiled by vtnz? Interested as I will need to lower my suspension one day too.

      Thanks! Adjustable suspension does need a cert, I think the tie rods probably do as well, bump correction I don’t think so. There’s a few more things I’m doing to the car that will also need a cert, so I’ll try to do it all at once

    Do the KW coilovers come with new spindles and stuff too or did you weld those on? Looks like an awesome kit and with your spring perches it’ll ride nice and quiet.
    I have the T3 coilovers with their attached spindles and they’ve been great but I’m sure the KW ones are more serious

      I didn't do any welding, But I did have to send my struts to KW in Germany where they did it all.
      You should check out the part 1/3 video on this I talked about it all there, and part 3/3 I talk about how they drive.
      I'd be really curious to drive a car on T3 coilovers now and see how they compare!

      @@andowerks1968 I know that the T3 struts are “good” but I also know KW is better. Plus the T3 are solid mounted with the camber plates so yours probably feel more refined. Definitely will check out part 1!

    A lot nicer looking than my homemade coilovers that's for sure, nice work! What spring rates are you running?

    • @andowerks1968
      @andowerks1968  3 года назад

      If they work they work! everything else on your car looks nicer though haha part number on the springs is 40-220 (front and rear), as far as I know that 40N/mm (4K).
      How about yours?

      @@andowerks1968 oh yea, that's pretty bang on for a street setup. Currently running 6 in the front and 5 in the rear. Car is very low though, so kind of need the spring rate to stop constant frame bangers.

      @@peterkelly7937 haha I thought that might be the case, be super interested to compare the ride quality when we get the cars together at some point, see if it was all worth it

    Is that a rag top?

    • @andowerks1968
      @andowerks1968  3 года назад

      yea basically. Its a tudor webasto sunroof (I think it's an australian brand, and the car is from there originally). it's aftermarket and pretty rough. I don't trust it in the rain at all. I've got a roof cut to get rid of it in the next few years
