      Imagin what we could do just by reversing gravity i was surprised this worked when I first tried it.

      my bad! apparently the colour changes when you render - got it now

    • @Blenderfanz
      @Blenderfanz  Год назад +1

      Great you found it . Also if you go into viewport shading its the little circles above the word options you can see the color change without rendering it.

    What should I do if the cloth moves very slowly??

      Is your sampling set too high, I usually set mine to 64 in render but only 16 in viewport. That's found in render properties the icon on the right that looks like a camera.
      you can increase the negative gravity which will make in wrap quicker.
      Alternatively you can render it in more frames per second in the icon that looks like a printer.
      Then when it plays back it plays at a faster rate.
      Also if you use an editor like shotcut (which is free) the speed of playback can be adjusted.
      Have you enabled your GPU if rendering in cycles as just using a cpu can seriously reduce speeds.
      Hope This helps regards Terry C

      @@Blenderfanz Thank you for your kind reply.
      I also used 64 and 16..I will try all of them ! I wanted to make carnations, so I increased the number of polygons in the petals. Is that the reason?

    • @Blenderfanz
      @Blenderfanz  Год назад

      @@har-nh9od defiantly it is better to add subdivision modifier then it will increase the number of polygons for the render but does not change the base mesh.
      Hope this helps you can unsubdivide by going into edit mode when petal is selected.
      Press F3 which will fetch up a search menu
      enter un and un-subdivide is the third in the menu this will reverse the subdivision partially but should keep the essence of the petal shape you have made.
      Hope this helps will do a quick tutorial with a cube showing this if it would help.
      Regards Terry C

    Hi I did the tutorial and it looks really good in the viewport, but when I go to render it doesn't show up at all! All the objects have the little render icon ticked on, so I dont know why it ism't working. Can you help?

      did you press 0 to see where your camera is looking

    • @eddiedoesstuff872
      @eddiedoesstuff872 10 месяцев назад

      Yes, it’s pointing directly at the rose, but when it renders it just doesn’t show up

    • @Blenderfanz
      @Blenderfanz  10 месяцев назад

      I know this might be a silly question but are there any lights in the scene. No lighting. No render. I've deleted lightning in the past and not noticed

    • @eddiedoesstuff872
      @eddiedoesstuff872 10 месяцев назад

      Haha yes there is a light source, but even there wasn’t it wouldn’t matter since I have a background color lighting it ip
