I am just amazed that Dan Suzuki still has a job - him calling for a 50% decline at the bottom of the market and AFAIK not changing his mind should be career ending.

As if people who call the market short term aren't just RANDOM number generators.
I'm not saying he's any good -- just that such bad calls by analysts are VERY common across the industry.

@@Tendomcgoobin: 30 to 40 years ago, I used to sit at my broker's office on a green screen he provided (pre internet) and trade stocks and options on the occasional day off work.
I saw some of the DUMBEST brokers there get promoted and become professional analysts. They had nice looks, nice beards, confident voices, etc. but not a brain between them.
And over the years I saw the "oil analyst" on FNN or whatever the hell it was called back then, confidently predicting future prices. But again, he had a great beard, so there's that.
Probably to be seen on TV, looks is 90% of it.

Nah he’s finally changed his tune. He’s bullish on the equal weight trade now since he missed the entire run on the Mag 7. After Marko Kolanovic got fired all the bears capitulated 😂
