No brainer. Semiconductor and AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I have made more than 200% ROI from NVIDIA with the assistance of my fa, I won’t fail to mention. I agree the stock would go higher in the next couple of days.

I bought NVIDIA around September last year because my financial-planner recommended it to me…said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.

Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.

They should engage in a conversation with the interviewee, even an intelligent one, to uncover and guide the discussion for maximum effectiveness. In this case, Andrew interruptions didn't disrupt the flow; instead, they helped us (Me) follow along and ultimately led to valuable insights from Eric Schmidt. But as I stated in the beginning, Just IMHO :)

Eric Schmidt's interview offered a fascinating glimpse into the world of AI. He highlighted how we're still in the early stages of discovery, it's wide open! Nvidia's a clear leader right now, with their powerful GPUs, CUDA, and Omniverse being the go-to tech for many companies developing AI. The market itself is expected to explode, benefiting big names like Meta, Google, and Amazon, but there's also the potential for smaller players to come in with game-changing ideas. Interestingly, Schmidt mentioned that even though Apple isn't usually the first mover, they might end up excelling at implementing AI effectively because of their focus on user experience. The whole conversation about open-source versus closed models was really interesting. While Schmidt believes closed models like GPT-4 might be more successful in the short term because of the massive computing power needed to train them, I can't help but see the potential for open-source models (like Meta's) to spark innovation, even from unexpected sources like young developers. With improvements in infrastructure and companies becoming more open with their research, open-source models could become even more viable in the future. The interview definitely left me wanting more - it's clear that the future of AI is incredibly exciting!

Everyone watching this needs to consider the implications AI will have on our economy very soon. Because we cannot stop it, nor do we want to, and we need to start preparing for what it means! AI will only keep advancing. Ignore the instinct to think it'll never do certain things, for I can assure you it will, and far sooner than you may expect. Don't believe those who say we don't need to prepare, as they're probably the ones who'll profit the most from the rest of us struggling. It's not going to create anywhere near enough "new jobs" quickly enough to reemploy all those it will displace! What new jobs could it create, that it couldn't also do itself? AI exists thanks to years of data and content, collected from all of us, that goes into training it to then out compete us. Demand your AI Dividend! Your piece of the benefits your data helped create. How else will we keep workers afloat while they figure out what to do next, how else can we protect the middle class from losing everything they've built? "Who are the losers?" almost everyone... So much money is being poured into this space that will be lost. This game is different. AI scales faster then humans ever could and blowing up barrier to entry across multiple industries. The tech at the hard working 50 M startup today will be replaced with something free and better in the fall. Time to buckle up and rethink.

Always amazes me how Palantir claims it’s the leading AI company and yet it’s being out invested in AI hand over fist by MSFT, GOOGL, META, AMZN. I reckon Karp is full of BS.

Everyone I listen to makes these statements of faith on everything AI is going to do in 3 to 5 years. But no concrete how. Oh well AI is going to figure out its own energy problem. How? we don't know yet but it will. There are only so many ways to create and harness energy. To develop a theory on how to do that will take 3 to 5 years to implement it on a large enough scale for all of these things to happen that they say are going to happen will take a decade or more. These people are hype men for a bubble. Will AI change the world absolutely. It already has. However that's like saying the internet would change the world and it already had in 1995. Amazon absolutely changed the world but it's stock went to a dollar in the .combo bubble burst and the real Internet didn't start impacting day-to-day lives until 2000. Arguably really coming to play with cell smart phones in 2008. What's possible and what's widespread implementable in every business and every sector across the entire globe are two different things.

Why are we so concerned about the application of ai, it's being used in Palestine to tell the difference between militants and civilians. And it's doing such a good job with a 40:1 k/d. Seriously, all you guys are screaming about the danger of ai, and it's already being applied in a military aspect overseas. You guys are about a decade too late
