The prediction by Vinod is for many AI models in many countries. Doesn't take a genius to see that the winner here is Nvidia.

US is helping to ensure there are Chinese competitors to Nvidia.

Vinod, we love you here in China. We too are worried about the uneducated masses in your country electing the “donkey”. That’s the problem with democracy. The masses select for the country and geniuses like yourself don’t count much in the electoral process. You should come here. When we find a great leader, like Xi, we make sure he stays for life. You would love our system and do even better for yourself here.

Why no Japan and South Korea in the list lol Maybe because US can easily suppress their development by politics.

Maybe its because South Korea and Japan don't have a vibrant tech scene or large pool of tech talent like China or India who dominates the world both in quality and quality of their tech talent

I think that's why Vinod mentions Japan because Canada/UK shouldn't be on the list
BRICS and Japan will develop their own AI models

I don't want to live in a world without open source AI models. If a technology is too dangerous to open source, it is too dangerous to allow only a small faction of people to control. I believe in democratization of power, not centralization of it. It boggles the mind that US citizens who claim to believe in democracy, seem to want authoritarianism when the power in question is greater (AI).

I agree, that large language models should not be open sources. Also, research papers on AI and other scientific papers should be guarded, so that China doesn't copy those ideas.

Agree to disagree a physican has to check you real time to come to diagnosis, before prescribing any medicine or procedure and self driving is dangerous when every machine can be hacked, the amount of disasters it can do to normal public on same roads is unimaginable

I was surprised to listen the language of Vinod Khosala. In public if you can call donkey to your ex president at the start of conversation then it means you lacks words to express and you deserve to speak little less, till you find words.

Moral Philosophy: an intangible that cannot be grasped without understanding. You provide no basis for having grasped these concepts. Your inability to learn creates a conflict of interest.

Am sure Vinods a very smart, successful entrepreneur but find him irritating and a bit of a pompous ass. Wouldn’t want him as my neighbour. But then again, I’m a pauper so what do I know and am definitely not moving to his neighbourhood.
