Northern California Recap

Recently I traveled to Northern California to give our presentation "A Guides Approach to the Water." In between clubs, I had the opportunity to fish with some friends and dive deeper into what Northern California has to offer the fly angler.

Confluence Outfitters guides are outstanding! Best fishing experience of my life was with Colin on Fall River a couple weeks ago. He's an excellent guide and teacher. Now if we could just get the temperatures in NorCal to go back to something resembling normality, I could go fishing again!

@@AboutTrout You should see the gorgeous panoramic photo he took of me fishing that day. I was staying up there with Val Atkinson and HE said it was a great photo. I had an art print made and hung it in my recording studio. I probably should send him more tip money! Seriously, that picture means a lot to me. Not just a pedestrian effort.

Nice to see an out of stater showcasing the natural beauty California still has. Getting tired of everyone shitting on our state although I will agree California does have its problems and crappy government but California is not just 1 big LA or SF
