I like how you show other pros do it like Zander in this video and TenZ in the icebox Jett video, I think this is helpful because many coaches say “you can watch a pro that plays your agent” but they don’t give any recommendations and many beginners don’t know where to start. I know that was me when I first picked up valorant.
Your VOD reviews are seriously top tier I’ve been playing Val for just under a year and my improvement really slowed down recently because of my perspective on the game. Watching these, the way I think while playing, and even while watching pro matches is completely different. I understand so many more decisions pros make and why. Really appreciate the detail, keep up the work man… its really amazing 🙏
I have player a total of two battle pass longs of seasons so somewhere above 100 days. First time ended in iron3, then bronze 3 and now just peaked silver 3 with 10 days left. Using all the tips from these videos helped me climb so Thankyou
I wonder how to deal with situations where I play Brim on Bind, and I try to fight over showers/B long with deep smoke but enemies decided to fast push other site. Now my teammates are upset, because I didn't smoke right away. I feel like I can't do much impact as a Brimstone, because I have to babysit my teammates with the smokes (that means I'm either in lamps or in B cubby to reach the other site with my smoke). I feel like I should switch back to Omen or even play Astra next time I'll play controller on Bind, but on the other hand, I don't feel like I'm doing as much impact as Brim on either of those two when attacking
If your teammates get upset because you don’t smoke instantly to hold on their site just mute them. Don’t try to maximize your teammates happiness it’s a good way to stagnate your improvement.
@@Woohoojin I always mute teammates on first offence, this habit helped me tremendously in my games. Thank you, I'm not used to shorter range of Brimstone smokes yet, especially on Bind, but as I expected, it's perfectly normal to be later on smokes compared to Astra or Omen. I've played like 15 hours (5 in comp) with Brimstone vs 150 hours on Omen (60 in comp), not to mention I climbed from silver to diamond playing Omen and Chamber only, so there's a lot to learn on Brimstone to feel as comfortable. Anyway, thank you again for videos and comments, you're the best
This is also something I get confused with. For short range maps like Bind, do i need to be concerned with instantly smoking off the other site if I am brim or omen? Teammates always ask for a smoke, so I always play in a passive position cause I dont want to die while I try to smoke the other site. In order to play aggressively i feel like I shouldn’t be concerned with smoking off the other site and just save the smokes for retake
@@dirtydeeks7066 communication is key. if u want to do this, u say to ur teammates in pre-round " hey i'm fighting showers early (maybe include a homie?) , i can't smoke for u on B" if they get toxic abt that, mute, if they don't play around ur comm and die bc there was no smoke that's not ur mistake it's theirs
@woohoojin im cofused Bombs down now he plays passive....., im confused u tell everyone to play safe Red (Green ) Red ur words , im confused on this call to push the smoke
