It is much more luxe than peaky blinders. Where the Blinders focus more on the working class making their way up in midlands UK society, Boardwalk is much more about the power struggle of the outrageously wealthy gangsters in New York, Chicago and New Jersey. Michael Shannon, Stephen Graham and Anatol Yusef are particularly brilliant in the show. Also worth mentioning that Game of Thrones mirrored quite a few scenes from Boardwalk Empire, both are HBO shows.
Substance..substantial..accusers and accused....the only commodity of value is truth...the one that underscores and overrides motive....personal truth ultimately depends upon motive...look around...nobody takes power
