- This is the story of Demaje. He is a 10 year-old boy who has been in foster care for several years. With options for placement or adoption running out, his only hope was to reunite with the family he lost.
Extreme Recruitment is a program of Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Association. It is an intensive, focused effort to work diligently and quickly to locate relatives of children in foster care who have no options for permanent placement.
The squeal of delight from Domaje were so lovely. What an awesome uncle, dressing in a suit for the reunion tells me hes a fine man

There is an innate need for familial (genetic) connection that seems to transcend even great foster/adoption placements. Thank you for searching and as Uncle Eugene states Demaje needs his family as much as the family needs him. Love!

THIS COMMENT GOES OUT TO "JACK" WHO WAS BELIEVED TO BE THE STOLEN 1 DAY OLD BABY BOY FROM CHICAGO IN 1964, I WISH YOU ALL OF THE BEST ON THIS AS YOU MENTIONED. BITTER SWEET EPIC RIDE OF UR LIFE. I KNOW THAT U HAVE INDENTIFIED WHO U ARE AND ARE LEFT WITH EVEN MORE QUESTIONS. I MYSELF WAS RAISED BY A WONDERFUL FATHER N ALLEGEDLY MOTHER WHO HATED ME FROM BIRTH., N CONTINUES TO THIS DAY. I KNOW MY FATHER WAS MY REAL FATHER, BUT UPON HIS DEATH 8 YRS. AGIO ALSO FOUND OUT WHAT I HAD LONG SUSPECTED N THAT BEING MY "MOTHER" WAS/IS NOT MY BIOLOGICAL MOTHER. NOW SHE REFUSES TO EVEN SPEAK WITH ME SO I WILL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW. THIS IS HEARTBREAKING TO ME AS YOU KNOW ALL TOO WELL.
