    Great job on the restoration!!!!! I like how you added the extra leather rings on the handle. You gave an old “sailor” a new lease on life and made it proud again!! Well done sir!! The Old Army Scout…

      Thanks, I’ve been using it daily, I put a nice edge on it, Dundee would be proud to shave with.

    I'm so glad you didn't give in to the temptation to give it a mirror polish. To my mind that destroys the character of a vintage piece. A lovely piece of work!

      I completely agree, I collect and use old tools and appliances, and I prefer that they look their age rather then new.

    Have my grandpa ww2 case fighting knife can't afford the leather handle replacement. But it's well taken care of.
