Hey Kevin, you hit the jackpot with that Case Tested. The Boker Barlow that you looked at and didn't buy, it's a good little knife, I have one. Good score on the knives you bought.
I was interested what you said about Buck knives , in 1995 my wife bought me a fixed blade black rubber handled buck knife with the gut hook , what a superb knife , I was a deer manager on several estates so was out shooting four or five days a week , that knife saw some serious work over twenty years until I dropped it the larder and broke the hook off .A pal of mine was over in the states at the time so a quick call to him (he virtually lived in Cabela’s on his trips to the US ) got me a new one ..what a difference in quality , it felt completely different , the handle wasn’t completely in line it was just inferior .I emailed Bucks in America but obviously got no reply , that was my last Buck knife and my last recommendation .What ever possess companies to squander their good name and superior quality to squeeze every last cent out of a proven product amazes and disappoints me ..
Great video. That was a nice sized grizzley cooler at 16:01, wonder what the price was on that haha. Also the knife at 21:07 that the guy was unable to ID the maker since 2010: the maker is McCroskey Knives.
Great video! You found some real gems out there! We have some big yard sales like that here in TN! Now you got me wanting to go out yard saling! Thanks for taking us along with ya!
I've got a bunch of old knives I've gotten over my lifetime, I'm 60 year's old now and I only buy USA knives also. We've all got knives we'll never get rid of like 4 that were my grandfather's old case and old-timer. But my favorite knife I have is my old LB7 SCHRADE and case for it I wear on my belt that I bought it brand new in 1982 and still is just as nice and tight as it was when I bought it for about $110 back then. The only thing I've ever had to do to it was restitch a couple stitches in the case. Great video today and take care of yourself until next time. 👍
I served in the Marine Corps also, Semper Fi. I just came across your videos a couple days ago. I live in Lakewood, California. I'm from Porterville, California Originally. Enjoy watching I like knives also.
So THAT'S where you got the black Camillus fish knife. That one cleaned up really nice. Looks like new, now. And that beautiful CASE brown bone. You turned that cheapie into a collectors piece.
You did well on your knife-hunting and I enjoyed your video. I’m looking forward to when you get them back home and go over them for us to see what you got.
