Good info!
Glad it was helpful!
Been considering getting a saddle to replace my heavy climber. Would be cool to get a saddle/climbing stick setup 101 with gear comparisons. I don't really know where to even start.
Thanks for this video, I’m new to saddle hunting and any tips or reminders are helpful.
Happy to hear that. Good luck this year!
Thank you sensei 🙏.
👍
Good explanations
Thanks!
Great video! Do you mind sharing what brand you use for your saddle and steps etc? Thanks!
Absolutely love your videos and content, do you have one that shows how to put up the saddle setup?
Yes, from a couple years ago!
Hey Allie, That was a great demonstration and explanation of different angles to shoot from. Best of luck the next of the hunting season. I also hope you get a bear tag as well. This year it's your turn to knock one down. Take care and be safe.
Good luck to you as well!
Good morning from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures with the compound bow when will you shoot a recurve bow hunting?
It has been on my mind. Maybe within the next few years.
Outstanding I am looking forward to seeing that adventure on video
So u prefer to have your last stick at platform level as opposed basically stand sideways on the platform to expand the strong shot side view?
Yes.
Love your channel. How long are you on stand b typically. Looks hard to stay out long on this stand
Usually 4-5 hours then I'll move
Would you advise for or against one sticking for a new saddle hunter?
Personal preference. I don't see the need, but I'm sure it is a reasonable and effective method.
How long does it take you to get set up once you are at the tree?
10 ish minutes
Okay, okay, now that was great information, but, the big question is, how do you pee , from the saddle? 😂
Just kidding.😜🤣😂
Thanks for sharing.
Have to climb down...
@@OutdoorsAllieI was so kidding. 😂
But thanks, 😂
Can you saddle hunt with a rifle or is that not viable?
Yes, absolutely. I usually don't but I know lots of people who do.
If you don't mind how tall are you
5 foot 8
Great tips!! Thanks. Was wondering what you and Nick do for Footwear…. Socks, Boots?
We usually go with something merino wool. I wear a mix between Much and Solomon, Nick wears Crispi and Irish Setters
@@OutdoorsAllie Thank you!! Crispi I hear are really nice, I’ll have to check it out. Lovin your Cookbook!! So many great ideas 💡 thanks again
