No. The KK concert I was supposed to attend three years ago was cancelled and this year I was out of town when they came. I should see Accept in October.
I'll be seeing KKs Priest in Montreal on Wednesday, and Judas Priest in Montreal on Friday. This will be the 2nd time for KK'S Priest this year, and the 3rd Time for Judas Priest this year. 🤘
Hey Pilgrim! You are such a Judas Priest fan I wonder if you ever heard Malice from 1985?!? Cuz the singer totally sounds like Rob Halford! Even more so than Ripper Owens! Check it out! ruclips.net/video/4jAyxerZfNw/видео.htmlsi=jXuDcqXFd6Pnf2WS
I TOTALLY AGREE when you say that more Jugulator and Demolition songs should be included live, and I'll go further: I think the albums deserve more personality instead of just poor references to old Priest songs... The guys should use a D Standard tune and bring back the Jug and Demo days... But, this is just my 2 cents...
KK's Priest rules.will be there this Friday in NYC. Up yours Jayne Andrews. I will be crying when Ripper sings 'Before the Dawn'. The 'Live in London' edition of Diamonds and Rust is untouchable. To your point, the more Priest, the better.
Technically KK can play the songs he wants from his set-list, because he co-wrote most of them. The current Judas Priest only keep Halford as a co-writer of the songs. Those of us who appreciate Ripper want to hear more songs from his era, there's no doubt about it, but there will never be the perfect set-list for anyone.
I saw KK's Priest with LA Guns and Burning Witches. The show was awesome. They're not returning near where I live on this tour with Accept. I'd go again, and actually prefer the new KK's Priest setlist with "Before the Dawn" and "Sinner". Accept as well on the tour would be awesome. I like them better than LA Guns.
I just saw U.D.O. a couple weeks ago. I'll see KK's Priest/Accept tomorrow, I'll see Judas Priest/Sabaton in three weeks. That means I will have seen: Accept and former members of Accept (U.D.O.) Judas Priest and former members of Judas Priest (KK's Priest)
I’ll be seeing Iron Maiden on October 4 and KK’s Priest on October 5. Since Judas Priest isn’t coming to San Diego this tour, I’m very excited about seeing KK and his band!
Except that KK Priest pulled out "Before the Dawn". That blew me away. I saw the Whiskey show and a second at the Magnolia in El Cajon. I would have loved to see "Cathedral Spires", "Bullet Train", so many bad ass songs on "Jugulator", I like quite a few off of "Demolition" also.
I will be seeing them in Nashville Tennessee on September 24th just 4 days before i see Mudvayne and Megadeth on Megadeth’s last show of their Destroy All Enemies Tour on the 28th. What a glorious week of metal it will be. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
The Ripper, well they play that up with Tim's name, that's going to be one. Then imo there are 3 KK staples Sinner, Victims and Rage. The later being the sneaky one. But catch the British Steel version of the Rage, it's a great live song and a KK highlight. From there as you say, the rest should be Ripper Priest or KK songs.
These grandads were in my town today, I would even know they were rockers except for how bad they dressed with the Run DMC black hates and leather pants
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧.....As a huge Accept fan I was hoping for at least a few dates over here with Accept obviously headlining.Yes I think KK's Priest do a great job but as you point out, only a few songs from both bands latest albums and concentrating on the hits really isn't necessary.
I watched a live interview today and the bassist from the band Tailgunner confirmed they have recorded with either KK or Ripper Owens or both, but confirmed nothing else. Something for you to go and look into!
I've seen Judas Priest do Diamonds and Rust acoustically on the Angel of Retribution tour. Rob. Ken and Glenn and it was my favorite version, and I first saw them do it live on the Hell Bent for Leather/Killing Machine tour here in the States. Accept, it's still hard for me to get used to Udo not being on vocals...I'm just old I guess...lol
This is actually not the 1st time that the Rock Rolla tracks have been remixed though. Gull records remixed them in the early 80s and included them on some versions of the Hero Hero compilation album.
I don't know what you're happy about. I'm upset that I had to see kk priest in montreal on September 11 and then judas priest 2 days later September 13. Thank god for accept they were there to save the day !!!!!!!
@@MetalPilgrim who's idea was it to put the 2 bands in the city (Montreal) 2 days apart. And they actually played 3 same songs sinner green manalisha and breaking. Let me tell you judas priest won that battle hands down. Not even close my friend. Now go to your maiden video and read my comment about the new tour. 😂🤣🇨🇦🍺🤘
My friend...... did you know that...... the last time I saw accept live before I saw them live last week, was in October of 2022. They played in Toronto (I live in Montreal about a 6 hour drive to Toronto) as it was the only Canadian stop on the tour. The singer mark tornillo could not make the concert so wolf decided to play the concert anyway without a singer. How dumb was that. A concert with a singer.
My thoughts. 1) Accept opening for KKP?!?!?!?! No disrespect to Ken but how the heck did KKP's mgmt talk Accept's mgmt into that deal? When I first heard the announcement I thought it was the other way around: KKP opening for Accept. 2) Rocka Rolla reissue/remaster: There's no way this is gonna stand up to Sad Wings or Sin After Sin. Not a chance in hell, although I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong. I mean, even with Tom Allom, who's extremely long in tooth anyway, there is little to no chance of making a silk purse out of Roger Bain's production of Rocka Rolla's sow's ear. Slava Ukraini!
I just counted 12 classics you refer to in the JP 2024 set list that KK was a writer of ? But K.K unlike JP doesn’t play any music that he didn’t Wright ? With the exception of green man and Diamonds So why are you telling him what he should play but not telling JP what they should play, What would JPs set list look like without the classic songs that KK composed and made successful ,Hope you had a great time touring with JP recently?
wtf? I just said that I like the KK's Priest songs and I wish more justice would be given to Jugulator/Demolition era because I think those have some great songs and it's our only way to hear them
Have you seen KK's Priest or Accept live?
No. The KK concert I was supposed to attend three years ago was cancelled and this year I was out of town when they came. I should see Accept in October.

Going to show this weekend in New Hampshire, can’t wait!!
I saw this show in Detroit Sunday evening, great show!! Both bands were phenomenal 🎸🤘

Jugulator is uber underrated.

Rock a Rolla has always been my favorite album cant wait for your next show !!! this is a Great tour glad KKs Preist and Accept are on tour !!!
Aca esperando que venga KK 's Priest a la argentina 🎸🤘
cual parte chamigo , MISIONES ;) ?? jajajaja

I saw Accept in San Antonio with Judas Priest back in 2000 or so. Saw them in the early 80's in Austin with Krokus and Metal Church.
Accept disbanded in 1998 and reunited in 2005.
@@Vorticy135 I saw Accept open for JP - Ripper Owens was the singer .
I’ve got tickets to the Friday, 9/13, gig as well as both area Maiden shows in November. Super excited!!
I actually would enjoy hearing KK's Priest play more of their own material and maybe just a few JP covers.
Great idea teaming up with Accept!
I saw both bands on this edition of the Monsters of Rock Cruise, and it was absolutely mindblowing!
Seeing the tour when it rolls through Little Rock later this month! 🤘
AH, me too! I'll see ya there!
Send us the pics!
I see them tomorrow in Montreal
Have fun!!! And tell us how it went
Where better to see this tour in Nashville Music City! Cannot wait!

Will be cool if both bands play some songs of their songs together

I want to hear Tim Ripper do pain killer...but I don't know if that is possible
It is possible and better than Rob singing it nowadays.
@@Vorticy135 i know its possible from a singing point of view, but when it comes to how wrote the song and so on
Maybe better others songs
The Joan Baez diamonds and rust is darker
Pathetic Rob will never accept that performance he will looks and sounds much worse compare Tim..it will never happens
