@@VroomNDoom2602 yep, that's exactly what my framers did in the end. Seems to have worked out ok although they really struggled putting it in and the anchor bolts (installed in the concrete with the Simpson templates) came up a little short for the nuts to fully engage. Had to chip away at the concrete to expose more of the threads
How do you attach to the top plate if it's on upsloping roof/header?

Order a taller wall and cup the top to the same slope?

@FrancisWong I'm not a builder. That sounds like a rough install. The EOR should have figured that out for you so you didn't run into trouble.
