My dad got stopped for gambling too good on sports. He still picks randomly online and his NFL average is 60% wins, betting on every game including Superbowl, for the last... idk, 4 years? He ends up making new accounts every year because he's concerned some poor sap will notice his record and start actually betting what he's predicting and hurt themselves somehow on his behalf. But yeah, it's absolutely a thing they can do. There's also the shittiness of parlay, you can't just bet on a single game where we're at.
The only way I enjoy playing cards is counting them and keeping track of them in my head. I like playing spades and trying to keep track of the cards and the probability of getting the right ones

I actually did get my current job through LinkedIn lol And it's actually been an amazing score (small company in my field of clearing goods through US Customs i.e. Customs Brokerage and frieght forwarding) since I got a pay increase, get to work from home, spend more time with 5 yr old, and my boss doesn't care if I come and go or clean etc. during the work day, as long as the work gets done on time, and it does. No micromanaging, heck I take a midday nap plenty of days 😅 I've been with the company for almost 2 yrs now and it's probabaly the best job I've ever had. I'm glad I got so lucky.
Its harder to go from 0 to 50k than to go from 50k to a million. The more capital you acrue, the less you need to pay back. Counting cards is just playing blackjack the right way. It isnt cheating like many people think. The house just does not like someone who can accurately assess their odds lol.

They might have some disagreements with some of them but the amount of those type of people that aren't actively engaged on social media and don't know shit besides the biggest stories on mainstream media feel fairly neutral to positive towards billionaires and if they feel slightly negative or straight up negative then they're easily pushed back into looking at them positively with a single positive headline about them

Plus it's both within the company's interest, and your interest, to make a profit, so it's normally within both people's favour to gain income. That's not to say that you won't lose money because there is every chance that a company could just fail at being profitable but this has nothing to do with fixed odds.
Lots of times they buy companies to load them up with debt declare bankruptcy and sell off the valuable parts of the company. Investors make money and all the workers become unemployed.
