Such a good idea this time of year! Highlight all the hard work those guys and gals do humping cargo aeound, making sure we get our presents in on time! Those guys have it down to a science and deserve to be recognized on your platform.

I enjoyed watching this video. I work on the office side of cargo. Every piece of cargo gets logged and attached to an Uld# and a position on the aircraft. Post 911 a screening record and a ID record of the driver who dropped the freight. Since 911 here in the US there has not been an incident regarding the safety of transporting cargo security.

What a total insight to air fright, in the 1990's I use to transport air fright from Scotland to Madrid, loads destination to the south Americas , my part was a 3 day/night journey, you have given me the whole picture of air fright
I have been wanting to get onto EMA apron for yrs. Having photographed from the bank at end of run way. I drive HGV for UPS , so drop at EMA a number of times per week. What a great show, very interesting . Well done and thankyou

Who would think cargo would be interesting but it is. I worked on the ramp at JFK loading & driving sun rain hot cold but it was fun. Worked with old guys 55 and 74. The youngest 21-30 were the lazier bunch partying the night before . I was 41. Great demonstration crew.

I work for ups in Manchester and we have a trailer from East Midlands Airport its great to see the other end of our operations
Now i see why if a parcel needs to be returned dome online sellers if goods came from far east may say keep the stuff cos its more headache getting it back a d i will avoid sellers who are taking 3 weeks to come its only worth it if youve got something really special you want it would proberly be easier for customers who can ve to do their hift orclithes shopping at 9nce go to china for two week hols and fetch your parcels back with you

Amazing what these guys do to make all those deliveries before xmas. Random question where is the divide between landside and airside with this type of operation.
They do not stretch aircraft, skin . They add a new splice of fuselage titanium or composite carbon and weld & rivet the pieces together. Remove seats and windows. Change door type.
