Thank you for putting information out there on the b48 9.5.1 ratio engine because sadly this engine has been left behind when it comes to mod s and performance upgrades and like you said, it's an excellent engine. People want to spend money but no one is putting effort into it . I own a GP and a JCW F60 2023 and it's even harder for the mini culture to find much on the new models
    Thank you again

Also another thing i would like to add is that 2018 and 2019 b48 A and B variants did in fact receive the revised injectors (same as b58) , so basically from coolant lines, oil filter housing and injectors, bmw noticed these issues in 16/17 models and ensured late 2018 and (68 plate like mine) and 2019/69 plate F series cars did not run into these issues
Also for anyone wondering about pistons strength, the 320i pistons not directly weaker material, the "weakness" comes from the higher compression, mini b48s and some bmw 2016 in fact did also have inferior material.
The key i would say is dont go W0T throttle below 3000rpms and to aggressive beloe 2500 and your car should be fine. Of course with proper maintenance

I have a 320i 2016 model 135kw/181Hp stock... I removed the Cat and the stock exhaust, replaced it with a DP, 2,5” custom exhaust with two resonators in middle and slit single muffler on each tail tip ( if that makes any sense). Replaced all plastics on the intake and charge pipe with an aluminium intake and charge pipe for durability (apparently that doesn't make any power gains). Stock air box with a K&N air filter and a JB4 on Map3 the car is now pushing 191kw/256Hp on the Dyno...
The guys who were helping me Dyno the car say it is "chocking", not sure what that means or what I can do to prevent this.

The oil filter housing has a problem as the housing fails due to it being plastic and loosing coolant when it fails at 74000 miles or when the engine is 8 years old, the housing on my 19 plate BMW 3 Series 320i failed at 75000 miles with a massive coolant leak and it was a very expensive to repair I had to have a new filter housing as one of the coolant ports broke up which is a common fault with the B48 Engine.
