The mom who saved an entire classroom of kids and their teacher in direct disobedience to what the police was ordering her to do just to get her two sons out of there while the officers were all just outside posturing with their guns had more bravery than the entire Uvalde PD combined. And then of course, now that the threat has passed, they're now all brave and back to harassing unarmed civilians, threatening the brave mom as if she were a criminal.
It's insane; cops were just outside listening as kids were being shot at and killed. What other job lets you stay even when your inaction directly led to kids dying? Why is this so difficult? Anyone who looks at this knows it's open and shut; these so-called cops are nothing more than manchildren playing at being cops and aren't fit to protect anyone and should be sacked and then charged.

We can see in the video that the gunman did not lock the door with a key, and also walked straight through the door into the room after opening it. A total lack of leadership and not just from on the scene. It goes back to training. Soldiers train and train and train for combat and this is what this was. When you are running toward the gunfire you are in combat. You ask any soldier who has seen combat, they will tell you they fall back on the training they received and the leadership during training and during the battle. Yes, the Chief was wrong but, anyone of those officers could have stepped up and said, let's go. It wasn't until the Border patrol tactical team showed up that someone said "Let's go." I wouldn't doubt one or more of them had military experience and knew what to do when they got there. All of those officers who were standing around waiting for someone to take charge were afraid, and that's OK. Running toward gunfire is a scary thing and anyone who says they wouldn't have been scared is lying. What's not OK is they couldn't get the courage to do the right thing to save those kids and teachers.. They don't deserve to wear the uniforms or the badges they were given when they swore an oath to protect and serve. They failed to do both. This just made me sick watching it.

Those Bortac guys didn't go in because someone had "military experience" they went in because they are a highly trained SWAT team and received extensive SWAT training. Whether one was military if not has nothing to do with their performance. Military weapons and tactics training is actually pretty basic, even with a infantry MOS. Only guys who have tactical training is your special forces operators.
