Thank you! They have been going bonkers trying to pinpoint where my anemia is triggered from. Turns out I have a chronically tripled ESR/CRP/Ferritin/other inflammatory markers. This should be my diagnosis, not simply Iron Deficiency Anemia. I also have zero iron stores in my bone marrow.
I have dropped to 2-4. I have also had extreme muscle pain, cramps and spasms. My ferritin is also low. I have Hashimoto's. My Rheumatoid factor is elevated. My doctor suspects Crohn's, also. I feel like crap.
Dealing with this right now , 2 ambulance trips within 12 hours due to severe chest pain and shortness of breath , my blood count was 64 !!!! Trying to figure what causing it, cause weekly blood work and transfusions isn’t fun lol
I've been battling illness for over 2 yrs already, my hemoglobin level went to 56.00g/l and I got admitted and we're tested , undergone colonoscopy/endoscopy/ biopsy but they had not found any source of bleeding, but I've been bleeding on and off almost every week but I don't have anything in my colon or intestine that cause it, I've done Endo and colonoscopy multiple times 😢😢😢
I wish my dr would listen to me instead of dismissing me , i even have it in black and white from the hospital and i know he has it but chooses to ignore , ive just been diagnosed with celiac disease and thats being ignored also . I feel like screaming but i don't have the energy my heads pumping and i feel so weak but its only karen . My drs need reprimanded. Keep Lifted
@@teasha7794 I have been back and forward, just last week I had to go back again, my bloods were not right, but still sent home, this week I now have a lump under my left side thats making me breathless , and my own dr is as good as chocolate bar in the oven , and thats been since covid, he's changed , hopefully his conscience eats him every time he has go see me .

There are many other types of anemia or reasons for Hb decrease. Hb count decreases in cases like B6 deficiency anemia, Thalassemia and a lot other factors play a role. Better to consult a doctor and see what they prescribe to get tested. Because in B12 anemia, RBCs are overfilled with Hb…so, might be also after bleeding.
I don’t know about that, I do know depending on what’s going on with your health, I learned yrs ago, before, I ever came down with a chronic illness, even if you are what’s considered a heavy bleeder that doesn’t necessarily means you have anemia! I also learned several yrs ago depending what’s going on with your health you can also have temporary bouts of anemia which is just as scary as having anemia!
Also I learned several yrs ago with having several autoimmune chronic diseases that you can have temporary anemia which can be just as serious, it just depends what’s going on with your health condition!

Been trying to figure out why my hemoglobin is so low but my ferritin is normal and B12 is too. How can I be anemic when my iron and b12 are perfect?
