I love BOTH of my FNX 45 Tacticals. I have both it in black & FDE, both with a Trijicon RMR & a Streamlight TLR-2 HL G on it. It is my EDC. I conceal carry it every day in the AIWB position, every day, everywhere, year round, without ANY problem with either comfort OR concealability.
I bought it as my night stand firearm however I order a holster to conceal carry on days i wear a coat
@@Gadgetpimp As I said, I conceal carry it in the AIWB position every day, year round.
Normally I wear a t-shirt so the holster/weapon isn't against my bare skin, then just have a polo shirt over that.
I've carried it MANY times with just a t-shirt over it.
Have NEVER had any problems.

I will NEVER understand why people keep saying "this gun is too big to conceal."
I'm a firm believer that most "printing issues," are in the mind of the concealer.
YOU know it's there, so EVERYONE "must be able to see it print."
I hear all the time that "only a slender person can conceal AIWB."
"You can't conceal a big gun AIWB."
"You can't carry ANY gun AIWB if you're overweight."
I have never tried a Desert Eagle, or huge 6" barreled 44 MAG, etc... And THOSE might very well be "too big to conceal," BUT...
I conceal carry my FNX 45 Tactical with a 5.3 threaded barrel, suppressor height night sights, a Trijicon RMR, and a double stack 15 round magazine in the AIWB position YEAR ROUND...
I even conceal carry it with a Streamlight TLR-2 HL G attached most of the time now because I found a holster that works well enough.
Without ANY problem with either concealment OR comfort.
Driving, even across country... Sumner, with only a polo shirt (or even with just a T-shirt)...
I've been talking with POLICE Officers, and they didn't know I was even carrying, let alone the SIZE of my EDC. My son is a Police Officer, KNEW I was carrying, but couldn't tell.
The owner of the gun store I used to do business with was a Police Officer. One day we were talking about carry guns in his store... I had been in there several times, talking with him and all his staff at one time or another, carrying EVERY TIME... When we were specifically talking concealed carry, and I told him what my EDC was, his response was "that's too big a gun. I don't see how in the world you could conceal that."
I was standing right in front of him... Asked him if he minded if I "flashed it in his store," and when he said no... I showed it to him.
His mouth literally dropped open, he gasped and said, "I never would have known. I can't believe it." He then called ALL of the employees over and I showed them. They ALL said the same thing!
