I think you need to switch to tea. I came here to see how the heck you were going to replace the oil filter. You know, that black thing sticking out the side bottom of the engine.
@@liveandletlive2894 Oh yea. It wasn't easy but not too difficult. hardest part was getting the old one off. I'm sure that's the way it always is though.
+Mick Step Yamaha recommends changing the filter every OTHER oil change. But having said that, I would never change my oil without replacing the filter as well. It's just cheap insurance.
Without changing the oil filter what truly good are you doing for the Jet-ski??? I've heard of cheap oil changes for 995 but without the filter what are you guys seriously think you're doing when they oil is usually only changed once a season? A filter that is filled to capacity and switches over the bypass is not doing you any good for the next oil change you're extremely foolish! If the whole idea is to do a quick change after you've possibly got salt water in the ski then maybe I could see what you doing otherwise you're wasting your time and hours for that matter!!
Turns out you are the foolish one for having such a strong opinion about that which you have no knowledge. The Kawasaki owners manual says the filter is good for 100hrs...which is several oil changes on a PWC. Of coarse changing the filter at every change doesn't hurt anything, but neither does changing it every 3 or 4 oil changes.

where is the filter change?
In case you’re wondering. Some skis don’t have oil filters that needs to be changed
Maybe but the STX15fs definatly do have filters. Not easy to get to as they are under the intake manifold.
I guarantee you my 12F has one and it looks like its going to be a pain to get to. That 's why I was here to see how it was done.
@@mathewdavis-adventuresandd6643 done it?

The filter on the 15F is pretty easy to change not sure why you didn't do that part.
Love the steel building.. What size is that..?
I'm in the process of doing a 30x100..
All of the toys, will have an indoor home
Great job...!!! Very graphic video... Fast and safe... Thanks for sharing
The filter on that machine is a bitch to get to. You have to basically do it by feel. would have liked to see the video of that.
I was hoping to see how they changed the filter too!
What about the filter???
why change oil without filter?
Can you tell me type of pump you are using ?
no filter change? thats only half an oil change.
That's how they change oil downunder. They don't need no stinken filter.
Are u running the engine while changing the oil?
my question as well - what kind of pump is that?
You need a bigger funnel ;) I like the metal oil can, they are all plastic here in the US.
Yo Aussie, you forgot the filter
you didn't change the Oil Filter
No filter change, wrong oil, should of put your beer in the motor instead.
that's what I was thinking. no filter?

Should have, not of... Is English your first language?
Bet lost as he did not change the oil filter!
I guess they have no idea how to get to the filter
U should have start and warm the jet ski up first the oil would flow better
