Boss Hog Canyon is truly an amazing canyon and very picturesque. It's beauty however is not to be taken lightly. This canyon can chew you up and spit you out. It's kinda like that ex-girlfriend that was a hottie, but actually kinda psycho at the same time. You have to tread lightly around them, but really enjoy it when things are working in your favor.
Boss Hog kinda took me for a little hiccup on this trip, but we were able to come out conquering. Don't go into this one expecting a walk in the park, you need to be on your stemming game and ready for anything.

Fun to watch. Some time in 2002 Dave Black, Pat Palmieri, Gary Swanson and I made the first descent of this canyon. Nice to see people are still respecting it.
Jim, That would be fun group to go out with again. Good to hear from you. Hope you are well. Boss Hog canyon is a fun canyon that'll work you over a bit. I have actually been back to it since this video and had some issues in it with the stemming. I found a new way through the tight section for me that was fun to discover and work through. It's a gorgeous canyon and like you I hope it continues to gain some respect and kept pristine as possible.
Wow that looks tight!
This one gets a little tight in a few spots.
I just did Hog 2 with Matt last Saturday. He told me all about this trip.
Awesome
Great to see you back in action!
It's been a moment hasn't it. It feels good to be able to have a video up again. Thanks for sticking around and being patient 😀
