Trust Fall is one of their best! I wish they played with this sort of vibe more often.

But the next question is … have you checked out Courtney’s PRE-iwrestledabearonce work with Unicron, a band she was in with her brother, Jackson LaPlante? Mostly it’s quite chaotic and somewhat IWABO-like, but one of the last songs they released before Courtney left to join IWABO clearly foreshadows her Spiritbox style, I feel. There’s a video, too. It’s called Broken Vessels and I rather like the song.
Speaking of videos, in at least a couple for earlier Spiritbox songs, such as the Mara Effect Part 1 and Perennial (which I wonder may be the one Trustfall reminded you of a little), the drummer is Mikey Montgomery of IWABO.
This is easily my favorite pre-LP Spirirtbox track.

Sadness i fell in this song but still headbanging
IWABO is a completely different band. Spiritbox started because Mike and Courtney were being treated as if they were hired guns instead of band members, and were also in the middle of dealing with an original member saying IWABO could continue, but not with any of the music that he wrote, which was pretty much everything from the Krysta Era of the band.
If you want to get into earlier Mike and Courtney, Mike’s first band was tech metal and called Fall In Archaea. Courtney’s first band was basically IWABO worship with her brother called Unicron.
I highly recommend all of Iwrestledabearonce but their first album with Courtney was Late for Nothing and while it keeps a lot of IWABO’s style it’s also more melodic and structured than their previous work. And then their second and final album with Courtney, Hail Mary, takes a huge turn into heavier stuff and higher production quality. Can’t go wrong with any of it imo. Check out the songs Boat Paddle and Green Eyes!
