I have watched your reaction to this so many times, because it's one of, if not the best reaction to a song i have ever see. There are many other Spiritbox reactions of yours like this too. Absolutely LOVED your reaction, sounds dumb but made me tear up lmao. You guys get it. the reason you probably haven't heard of them, is because they're a relatively new band...husband and wife, Mike on guitar and Courtney vocals were once in the band Iwrestledabearonce...Spiritbox has no albums yet, an EP and a singles collection, so the rabbit hole has only just got started at this stage..expect a new song from them "Blessed Be" on the 28th...they've only just begun a small tour, first show being a freebie in BC Canada before heading over to Europe in support for the band After the Burial...they have written new material, and say an album is on the cards when they return..Jinjer's Eugene has mentioned liking them in an interview, a year or so ago....I can't wait for you both to see more Spiritbox, after seeing your reaction to Trust Fall...epic 🤘

@@dmusiclife5727 this band was under different name, and i think they had 4 albums. I know she and her man started this project , he is a guitarist and composer, with some new members they made Spiritbox...and we love that style of art rock plus metal ...just magestic!

I felt Trust fall was a good way to get them into the band and I knew once they heard it then they would react to more for us. Dylan - one of the very few bands that sound like this that i enjoy are Spiritbox (Gojira & Jinjer are the other two). Watching the video Spiritbox-Belcarra is a must. Also, if you do another Spritbox tune or two, then you should check out Spritbox's singer Courtney LaPlante singing "The Beauty Of Suffering" live in studio.

Damn, welcome to Spiritbox guys! I didn't know you hadn't heard them. Easily one of the greatest bands on the damned planet. The singer is Courtney LaPlante. They're Canadian (BC, I believe). You are in for a massive treat. Check out Rule of Nines next. It's a must. Hell, do a double feature with Rule of Nines and Electric Cross. Please. A lot of their songs top "Trust Fall," and that's saying a lot. :) Great reaction as always.

But the great thing about Spiritbox is that they're impressive as hell even when you start scraping the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. Mara Effect live in studio would be a fantastic experience for Dylan and Erica. They're smart and are seemingly easily seduced by ambiance and mood. :)

I don’t know, personally I feel trust fall is their best, but all their songs are great.
Spiritbox will be really pleased when they see this as I know they love this song. They're still very much an up and coming band just about to embark on their first tour (I'm lucky that I'll be seeing them mid March!)

Spiritbox as a band is like the avantgardesk sister of Jinjer that is playing on the secret stage of the club.
If you like this track, before coming to the harder stuff I can wholeheartedly recommend "The Mara Effect complete (live at Silversound Studios)". That video kills with all nuances of their beautiful side and is the mindf*cking Spiritbox opera.
Actually everything of this band is outstanding. With different vibe in every song, from simply beautiful to shocking brutal. With the distinct amazing guitar sounds, freaking bass lines and polyrhythmic drum excellence on top of Courtney LaPlantes mesmerizing vocals.

Even more amazing, they still have a small but very loyal fan community and hold close contact to their fans, with rehearsal videos on Facebook, live streaming Q&As and open and honest communication ... Heartwarming human beeings. And what is not shown in the music videos: Courtney is a really nerdy girl with lots of humor actually! She and her husband the guitarist were initally members of iwrestledabearonce, but Spiritbox is much more mature ...
While browsing reaction videos I saw that this band finally got more recognition, a few months ago there where about 3 reaction vids of this band lol. They so fucking deserve to get big. Saw them last Friday live in Germany where they opened for the After the Burial tour. Mind. Fucking. Blown. There where about 15 Spiritbox fans and I bet they made a lot more that evening. She hugged and thanked every one of us and the band chatted with everyone Incredible humble and nice people. And so much talent.

There you go guys! Finally some Spiritbox and I'm glad to see it and that you also enjoyed it! The vocalist Courtney LaPlante and her husband Michael Stringer are former members from the band iwrestledabearonce (IWABO) and formed this band a few years ago. Spiritbox is something unique and special, all compositions are just on point and have so much detail. The music and instruments always perfect fits her voice and I love it. Even they had a pretty big fan base with IWABO they are still a growing band and any support is much appreciated! You guys just chose a not so harsh song by them I guess but this is what also is special about them: they don't always need much harsh vocals like screaming or growling, Courtney has an incredible vocal range and she can do it all. If you enjoyed it you definitely should listen to more of them, I would love to hear your opinions about other songs by Spiritbox! Check out their newest single "Rule of Nines" and all their other amazing music. After that you also should check out their incredible live performances on their official channel. They gonna start touring next week and will release a new single on 28th February. Looking forward to see more Spiritbox on this channel, cheers!

I love when Courtney did the ascending note starting at the low, sultry note starting the next verse and her eye shot open with surprise. I did the exact same thing. I still do all the time when I listen to Spiritbox and Courtney's amazing vocals.
I believe they're Canadian. Husband(guitarist) and wife(singer) formed it. They used to be in another band and formed this when it broke up. To really hear their versatility, listen to their song The Mara Effect(parts 1, 2 and 3)

Every song these guys have put out is killer. Check out The Mara Effect (a trilogy of songs), Perennial, or Bleach Bath if you want to hear more of them. I think they also have a new single coming out at the end of the month if you'd rather wait for that.
Belcarra is probably their heaviest song and also most popular, along with their newest one Rule of Nines but it's a short one. Bleach Bath is my favorite but probably because it was my first Spiritbox video. Another great one is Electric Cross and the live video of just Courtney for The Beauty of Suffering.

In the last 2 - 3 decades I've heard nothing which puts me in this mood, and I'm a musician and absolutely interested in music since about 40 years.

CYBER DEMON If you heard their song Aphids...nothing easy-listening about it. That song is harsh.
CYBER DEMON 💯 Man. It’s pretty clear right off the bat the level of musicianship is this band is incredible. I just loved the contrast of the melodic vocal harmonies over the heavy down tuned guitars and technical rhythm sections. But I didn’t get a poppy feel from the vocals I just think she has a beautiful voice along with outstanding well written melodies. It’s only the 1st track we’ve ever heard but we’re definitely looking forward to hear what else they have in store 🤘

Dylan Caldwell poppy probably wasn’t the correct word, more “clean” compared to what was going on with the instrumentation, either way it was an unexpected contrast but a pleasant one. I’m sure they won’t all be that way as hinted at in the comments sections. A good start this far tho it’s rare I find a band that draws my attention almost immediately, sad but true
DegraTrip Jesus you weren’t kidding 😆 unfortunately my delicate sensibilities have yet to come to terms with that style of vocals, it’s been a screen to me fully diving in to bands like Gojira and Jinjer. I’m hoping it’s like field stripping a weapon, repetition, so I can properly embrace it, because the music itself is fucking sick. I use Pandora for this, throwing on Gojira radio when the mood hits. I normally can’t last very long and it pisses me off, the instrumentation is some sick shit.
