@@CyMetalReacts I did. I literally said "Holy **** that's Tati!" Most people were there for Korn, but for us Spiritbox fans we lost our minds. I was at the barrier so had a clear view of seeing this dream come true.
I love Spirit Box, but I listen to Jinjer daily. This collaboration with both was simply epic, it gave me chills. I wish that they would do an original album together.
@@JW1070G A lot of creative singers will do that. Maybe the producer was in charge of some of it in the studio or it was done on a schedule or budget but they play it live for a year or so and suddenly it's the song as they heard in their head.
Brilliant performance, their voices compliment each other's so much...and yeah, Zev is a fantastic drummer. Check also out VOLA "24 lightyears" drum playthrough..one of tbe.weirdest drumpatterns I ve heard so far, played by the happiest drummer in the world.
Interesting thing about Zev is that he's a super progressive drummer but because Mike writes all the drum parts (now with Zevs input, but the earlier stuff without) it comes out simpler but also super tight because Zev is a beast.
Tatiana has a number of great collaboration with other bands. If you have not reacted to her collaboration with 12 Foot Ninja "Over and Out"(OMV), I highly recommend it. Good reaction (Subbed)
For me, the mellow parts of this song are too poppy, which is one of the reasons I gravitate more toward Jinjer than Spiritbox. Having said that, Courtney is a great vocalist! I do give a slight edge to Tati's clean voce for its velvety timbre and to her harsh vocal for its more, IDK, demonic nature? They sound really *great* together, both clean & harsh.
There’s some great pop songs lol, spiritbox just doesn’t resonate with me for some reason. I think it’s how their music is produced. You get to hear less of Courtney’s natural voice. It turns me off. And in general, some of the songs are more cookie cutter. Jinjer does a lot more for me, groovy, more aggressive, and the polyrhythms
@@travisspaulding9540 I think I'm referring to the vibe of the mellow parts...it's a vibe that's quite common in pop but not very common in metal, and it just doesn't do anything for me. Jinjer just never has that vibe. Even relatively mellow songs like "Wallflower" have a very different vibe. Even in the heavier parts of their music, Spiritbox often has what I'd call a more "industrial" sound, which I don't mind, but I prefer Jinjer's grittier sound. And of course, there's much else about Jinjer that I prefer over Spiritbox, including the characteristics you mention.
It was a huge shock being there when Tati came out, I lost my mind. A dream collaboration.
Did you recognize who it was immediately??

That's exactly what I was rambling incoherently about! Band collabs are so sick.
You should definitely give them a chance and dive deeper into their discography.
Oh for sure, they keep proving to be bad ass time and time again!
Tati looks soooooooo cool.
Buncha bad asses
I promise you, Tati was trying not to outshine another woman on her own song. She was trying to fit into the song without taking over.
I love the first comment on the MV: "Who knew Courtney and Tatiana would sound good together? Everyone. Everyone knew."
And we all have been proven to be right 😅
I'm new and cool genuine entrance sir 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for watching!
@@CyMetalReacts it was a great pleasure sir and you're welcome 🤘🤘🤘
Really cool that they did a multitrack of this. Makes me want to listen to more Spiritbox.
Spiritbox is killer! I definitely went on a Spiritbox kick when Eternal Blue came out.
You’ll never listen to the studio version after this dropped. It’s sooo good.

@@coder4liberty Being as it was mixed by SB’s bass player I’d say you’re dead on with that synopsis.

Check out Jinjer - Vortex
You will love the drumming in this. It’s also one of, if not their best.
I'll check it out!

It was definitely killer to see them perform together! They are definitely two different types of metal, but regardless I love a good collaboration.
Don’t you think Tati sings deeper than Courtney?
I could see it! I also think Tati has a bigger range in general though too!
So your a pop fan
