Pervy design aside, the engineering, articulation and just high quality of the mooka is great. One of my favorite figures of the year

Seeing the lance Mooka has in detail, it looks like an umbrella. I think that along side the bunny suit esthetic, they also incorporated a Race Queen in the design.
I mean, some of the decals included with her does have some racing themes
Honestly that was my first thought as wel. The umbrella idea and decals (plus car mode look) are definitely leaning on the Race Girl aesthetic.

Actually the reason that Big Firebird changed the head to avoid getting sued. Wei Jiang just got raided when it was supposed to be released, and EVERYONE freaked the hell out.
Also IIRC, they put a 3D printable version for everyone for free.
That Mooka pose at 19:30 is phenomenal.

They just leave their figures standing in a very awkward neutral poses, with legs straightened out and pointing forward, and arms stiffly resting next to the body. Like, wtf, as Emgo would say, "It's your figure, display it however you wish", but how does it not hurt just looking at that?

The NNN video was beautifully shot and the knight/maid idea for mooka is super anime and it's nice

I got the Mooka figure a while back and the Car Mode is just awesome, I do wish there was weapon storage for both figures.
Genuinely I feel like Mooka should have had less accessories or at least one weapon that could store in the alt mode besides the roof-shield and the arm Canon.
Still though love both of these figures from Big Firebird (not including the super knock off)
As a certified nemesis color scheme fan boy, that black repaint of nicee hits all the right spots for me. And in reference to the digimon comment, don't worry jobby you still have people who love those, myself included. Hell I just started playing the digimon mmo
I love how you describe the Japanese subscription boxes with such enthusiasm. However, in Japan, these treats are no more special than the stuff you can buy in a convenience store.
Tokyo treat is convenience store stuff, whereas SakuraCo have handmade snack foods from different parts of Japan

As someone who already reviewed these girls, this video was pretty great.
I'm getting some big Batmobile vibes from the vehicle mode. It looks really slick. This is a model that I'd ideally want 2 of, to display in both modes.

Another great review as always Jobby! Some good news I can confirm about the third-party nicee is that the release figure is much more solid then the review copy you got and the weapons are much more sturdy

Beautiful color and vehicle design on Mooka. These designs are kind of creepy, but the engineering is great especially when they are moving away from Arcee. The vehicle gives it a Batmobile vibe.
Mooka is a really cool and well designed figure. It even has a built in display mode made to not sell you off as a degenerate for owning it.
Man, Jobby's channel took a really sinister turn since that SH Monsterarts Shin Godzilla review
The parts at 18:08 that connect to the swords actually go on her wrists, kind of like that blade that Doom guy had in Doom Eternal

Love when figurines decide to defy you when filming. (IE: Turning into Spaghetti when talking about how they're not spaghetti.)
Surprised at how much I loved Mooka. Her color palette and bunny maid aesthetic drawn me in more than her original pink bikini design. It looks a lot better, in my opinion, plus all the extra articulation and better car mode is more appealing to me. This review actually made me consider picking her up, if it weren't for how hard it'd be explaining her, plus the fact I'm broke. Great set of reviews.

Update: I got the KO Catwoman version now. No problems with shipping and no broken pieces. It’s much lighter than the Mocha and overall feels a bit looser than her but that doesn’t sacrifice anything for her posability or sturdiness.
Really like her overall. Great shading on the legs too. CDL has my vote but I will still be buying Firebird direct when their next project comes out.
