Horse guards has been the official gateway to St James Palace & Buckingham Palace since the 18th century, the soldiers & horses are there historically as “gate guards” They are also a big tourist attraction as are the Guards at many of the Royal residence’s - Windsor, Buckingham etc.
Purely a tourist attraction? Seriously? I think you need to do a bit of research. Goodness me, what an absolute insult to these serving men and women of His Majesty's forces.
No one can blame the horses who wants to be constantly petted especially by rude ridiculous strangers. Just don't touch them. Read the signs. Great job by the Guards.
Love how the guard is so trying not to laugh. Love it they all are trying to not laugh. Why should the horse not fight back, they put up with a lot and no respect. Yea For the guards and the beautiful horses.
I love it when horses are over the bs from the tourists and literally give them a bite to say keep your bloody distance. They are given a warning on the sign so I don't feel sorry for anyone who gets a bite taken out of them, it's a pity it doesn't happen more often. 😂
Horses are very sensitive animals and feel vibrations and aggressive aura/smell. Sure sign: ears back possibly a bite, raised tail possibility of a kick. Give it the opportunity to sense you from a distance.👍
I just love these horses; there's never any doubt as to how they feel about you! The amount of stupidity shown in this video is hard to believe. So many continued to stand there after he nipped or pushed them away. What fascinates me is how he picks and chooses those he likes, as well, and let's them know it's okay to touch him. It makes me wonder what kind of perception horses have, and what they are able to sense through smell.
It’s the Guards’ duty to protect their horses and the stupid tourists. Bu they only play statue and one of them, the lady guard, let the little girl be bitten and stays stiff when she saw the girl crying. What a bad exemple! They can explain the risks and order people to retract. If they received orders to let tourists touch their horses, so their boss are very stupid. They are waiting for a tragedy to change the rules.
@murielvaillincourt38 how dare you blame the Guard! He is doing his job and a bloody good job at that. Its STUPID PARENTS for letting the girl pet then stand that close to a horse where there is a BIG enough sign that states 'Beware horses might kick or bite' only thing you said which was correct is stupid tourists!!
@@murielvaillancourt3855what didn’t you understand in the signs preventing the public of the danger that might occur by approaching, touching and petting the horses?! The sign is there for a very good reason and if the people are too dense to understand the very deep message in it, it’s their problem… not the guard’s and certainly not the horse’s, their’s. Anyway, tourists shouldn’t touch the horses. If they do it’s at their own risk (the signs are there for a reason) and the little girl, who has been bitten, can blame the stupidity and carelessness of her parents for what happened, NOT THE GUARD!
Read the sign, it's a warning . I have passed by the Horseguards so many times ( UK citizen) for work reasons . Never have attempted to pat the horses . @@adrianwright8685go scream that at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, I'm sure you'll be welcomed.
Horse guards has been the official gateway to St James Palace & Buckingham Palace since the 18th century, the soldiers & horses are there historically as “gate guards”
They are also a big tourist attraction as are the Guards at many of the Royal residence’s - Windsor, Buckingham etc.
The force is strong in this one😂
Horses have the ability to understand human facial expressions. Even on posters instead of real people.
They are not a Disney attraction , their riders are members of the British army , fully trained and weaponed up and are protecting Royalty . I have no wish to be snarky . Best regards to you
Many animals don’t like goose down filled or fur or puffy items. Also, these are very intelligent creatures and can feel a person.
They certainly are patient horses.
If they had brains they'd be dangerous ! Watch the horse biting then go stand in the same place !?!?
One day there will be a headline " tourist badly bitten by horse in hospital " . They dare to glare at the guard like it's his/her fault . I give up on the human race .
These fools who continue to get too close deserve a bit of a scare. Obviously know very little about horses. When the ears go flat....look out! Good for you, Arnie!
Has she just nicked that coat with the label still hanging on it omg 🇬🇧
A horse bite hurts so much worse than a dog bite. Just thinking a out it almost gives me goosebumps. He (Arne) has had enough.
Hungry hungry horsey. I love it. I'll never understand how he doesn't at least crack a grin.
Three cheers for Arnie what a horse with attitude you got to love him ❤😂😅
I think the horse hates puffy coats! I'd love to send these guys a CRATE OF APPLES. @11...I love how he stands all placid and sleepy, luring them in for the bite! But really they're just messing around. If they were serious biters, there would be blood. Thank you Buska for this great compilation.
Did the guard just warn that woman away?
Print on tshirts
I SURVIVED A SELFIE WITH ARNIE
Brilliant idea love it.
But a nice pic of Arni. 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
🤣
They need a sign that says ,"Warning! Arnie on duty!! I can just see th guarding the stable,"Oh crap! I got Arnie"
More 'yay I've got Arnie' then remember how many tourists he goes for
THESE HORSES SHOULD NOT BE TREATED LIKE BIG CUDDLY TEDDY BEARS, BY THE TOURISTS.
Great video…thank you 😁
Arnie at his best love him .
Licking his lips ..hehe next please.
Omg just love that next please 😂😂😂
My hero😊
Love it, I could watch this all day. 😂😂😂
