I LOVE hearing the calls of the zanates (the local black Great Tailed Grackles) and the little morning doves! It's such a typical, ommipresent local sound: when I get out of the airport and first hear them I go, "yeah... I'm in México!" Lovely feeling 🤗 🐦⬛ 🕊️ 🇲🇽
It’s 3:30 AM and unfortunately I am up. Every muscle & bone in my body is hurting from all this packing and getting rid of stuff. We are ahead of schedule so that part is good. However, I do love early mornings. The quiet and beautiful sky listening to the birds. Normally we wake up around 4:30 AM and if we are lucky 5 or 6. Also the Mexico elections have been covered really well here from Los Angeles news stations. Have a great day Cartess
There really wasn't much of anything about the ellections. There is an app called Garden Radio I use to listen to "local radio" anywhere in the world. I was listening to CDMX news radio. When I talked with friends or family here in America they had no idea about any of it. Some of them were surprised America media has been quiet about it. But main stream media such as NPR, BBC, NY Times did have a short segment saying first women president but that was about it.
Now your comment is making me think! I stayed in a really cool Airbnb there. Small but good vibes. And San Antonio has good vegan food! They even have a vegan fast food drive-through. So good, omg!
@@RescueAlwaysOfficial I stayed in a hotel right next to the Riverwalk. Was your Airbnb in the downtown area? I enjoyed the peacefulness but will never go back.
You're soo kind. It probably would need to be shipped via DHL (they don't have typical mail services here). Shoot me an e-mail: cartess@cartessross.com
my vip account is not working. Whenever I click on something it says no access. I sent an email to the support email and no response. I just emailed your cartess email

Thanks for sharing the early morning with us! Thank you, Malika, for getting Cartess out so early to watch the town come alive.
Hola, 5am is the best time for a walk especially with our 100 degree temps. I absolutely love it!
Totally agree!

That reminds me of San Antonio, Texas. Looks so peaceful.
I was in San Antonio in 1982 and 83. The sunsets were pink. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
