Yeah the more glass you put in a wall the less efficient it will be. Another point here, the people who can afford to put in these doors (at a cost of $2500-3000/linear ft just for the door/glass... not including installation costs which gets expensive quick) probably not too concerned about the heating/cooling bill. Just sayin'

even if that is tripple pane windows that is going to be only R2-R4 value, when the wall is R19, huge heat or cold loss! utility bills will be bad!
