Getting the freak barrel kit is worth the difference in price alone , not to mention just get the regular Amp and you will be cheaper . Both good guns but in my opinion shocker is the way to go.
If it was for looks alone for me the HK Army just looks better. Many guns now a days are so bland and boring, not like the old 2000s with the wild cuts and stuff. I just don't feel like Dye even tried, "just gimme a tube and a trigger bro." Never hear about any issues with either which is great.
@mr2wolfD well obviously not but I don’t think the dsr + is worth the money considering I bought a used dsr and threw the upgraded bolt parts that are in the dsr+ for half the price of the new one. They changed the trigger , asa switch is bigger and the front grip battery knob. In my OPINION I don’t see it worth the money when the shot quality and egros are literally identical
tool steel will rust as it has a higher amount of carbon in it. tool steel is harder than stainless steel in most cases and is a lot easier to manufacture as well. just the way it goes. in the knife world a good quality, hand-made knife will need to be oiled a couple times a year in order to not rust, and cost much much more than the Gerber or Kershaw you picked up at the box store. even though it rusts it is higher quality steel for that job. at a minimum they could put a coating on everything except the tips at both ends as a coating would throw the tolerances off after it chipped/wore. Bondhus makes sets like that i believe.

i own both and love these guns soooo much. On paper, the HK amp is better....but the ergos and shot quality keep me going back to the DSR+.
Sadly I owned a DSR + and air efficiency sucks
Shocker Amp vs Luxe TM40
That should be you next video
The regular shocker amp is cheaper than the Dsr and functionality wise it's the exact same as HK army edition.
Keep these comin!

Does Keegan still work for you? Haven’t seen him in recent videos..
Inquiring minds want to know. I liked Keegan and Media guy Doug's videos much better.
Unfortunately, they both moved on to their full time professional jobs and don't have the time to do videos any more
@@PunishersPaintball Wow that’s crazy, they both left. Keep up the videos, sucks you have to do it by yourself now
@@thewiseguy7100 thanks for the positive words! We may have something in the works for the channel ;)
How much does the HK AMP weigh ?
Upgrade a regular dsr with the flex face bolt and can. Grab you bwing trigger if you want, but at the end of the day it's a dsr+
@mr2wolfD barely lol

When is the dye mech/ele single trigger version going to be out?
GREAT question! No word from Dye yet
been a dye fan my entire life but I like my hk amp way more than the DSR+

Any word on dsr+ mech frame??
Unfortunately no word from Dye yet
Can the mech frame be fitted to the HK amp
We believe the frame should fit but the ASA cannot be carried over, so you would have to get an ASA knob
