California & Hurricane Pass - Silverton, CO

Hello, and welcome back to Follow! It's the end of June 2024, and I unfortunately just lost my father due to complications from Pneumonia. We held a small celebration of life service for him at the top of La Plata Canyon in Southwest Colorado, which was one of his favorite areas. A few days later we gathered up the Jeeps and tackled California & Hurricane Pass North of Silverton, Colorado. You will see a few new faces in this video but also recognize some familiar ones. On July 4th my oldest son Cori, his girlfriend Brittani and their friend Jordan rode the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train to Silverton. We met them at the station and then celebrated our Nations freedoms in the area, including a spectacular fireworks show that evening. On the way home our Jeep JK suffered a major engine failure. We trailered it home the next evening, but are uncertain as to how we will rectify this situation. Stay tuned as we have some interesting ideas brewing.
