What does wi-fi connection have to do with powering the camera with the constant power solution?
    Is this a mistake?
Why would you need wifi for your camera to continue recording even after you turn off your vehicle. I dont need to see it live. I just want it to record...

Have you put one on the new land cruiser? do you have any recommendations? we have almost been hit couple times. Also we had to already replace our windshield from a rock the second day! Safelite was able to do winshield but since so used had to go to toyota to calibrate the cameras.

We haven't added much to the LC yet, but definitely check out some of our Garmin shop for the OBD2 constant power option!

would it be a problem to put large heat shrink material to cover over the white connectors - 1 so would hold and 1 would hide the white

Nope that shouldn't cause any issues!

This will definitely work in SR5 and SR models - if your vehicle doesn't have a powered rear view mirror, you could use the Constant Power Adapter to pull power from your OBD2 port!

Love the video and i know you can adjust the constant power but can’t this drain your battery if you are leaving it on 24/7

It automatically turns off when the battery voltage drops too low.

@@johnn89367thank you that’s what i’ve been reading, what about if you have a back camera as well could you just snake that back into the obd

John is correct! These cameras detect when the battery voltage drops below a certain level, and automatically stops drawing power!

Does the anytime view require a subscription?

You will need Garmin's LTE service for the anytime view!
