    The pull up has been my best and favourite exercise for over a decade, and I still learned something from this video. Thanks Micha!

    I’ve been doing chin ups for years. With body weight, weighted or with rings. And this summer I hurt my bicep tendon while doing them only with my own weight. I thought I had strong tendons since I’ve been doing ring exercises for more than a year. I don’t know if it is an exercise that is not for me or what. But I find very strange to hurt my tendon only by doing them

      Maybe Overload? did you had any pain in the last phase before your Injury?

    • @juanjoromero2730
      @juanjoromero2730 2 года назад +2

      @@Prof.M I didn’t have any pain. As for the overload, I wasn’t doing more exercise than usual. This summer was too hot in my city and I don’t know if that has something to do, although I was sleeping well and drinking a lot of water.

    I be having dreams while sleeping where I will just be doing chin ups for hours. Its very enjoyable when it happens.

    if its for Hypertrophy or Back building focus what will you choose? Chin ups or Pull ups if you can only choose one.

    • @MichaSchulz
      @MichaSchulz  Год назад +3

      I will never be in a situation to choose one. So don’t limit yourself with those restrictions. Choose one lift as primary the other one as secondary

      Strength training = stronger tendons

    Great video, but the repetition of the sentences in the video makes it too long and boring

    I'm actually a bit stronger on pullups. The chin up grip feels a bit awkward for me.

    • @Vakator-29
      @Vakator-29 Год назад +1

      I feel my forearms work harder on pull ups which are harder than chin ups for me. I can do a few chin ups but can barely hang off the bar in a pull up position,
