Wait please don’t get rid of E Lynn Harris Invisible Life. It’s a REALLY good book. Oh gosh you probably already did tho! You could’ve given it to me😅. It’s on my wish list even though I read it many years ago but I can’t remember if I owned it or borrowed from a coworker. I have Just As I Am and back then we used to swap books. Another is This Two Shall Pass.
I haven’t passed it on yet, so I’ll keep it based on your recommendation! Should I keep both books or just one?
I totally feel you on the looming seasonal depression. I’ve been feeling the same way and I had such intense sadness on the last day of summer last weekend like summer is over 😢 I’ve been trying to lock in social plans with friends and family for the next few months to help these feelings. I hope you feel better soon ❤
I love the idea of planning things with friends and family in the future. Such a great way to get excited for the season instead of feeling nervous for it!

Yes...I tend to get somewhat depressed when transitioning from Fall to Winter. The lack of sun light affects my mood. I fight thru it with good books and good music. You can always celebrate the holidays with your siblings in an off month like July or August. Think about making new holiday traditions combining Brady's and your families or just you, Brady and friends.

I agree with you on reading outside of your preferred genre. I’ve been reading lots of classical fiction and translated novels and it’s really inspired and made my reading journey a lot more fun and exciting.❤

would LOVE an in-depth bookshelf tour! My furbaby passed away last November so I totally get how hard it is to part with their belongings. I keep one of her sweaters in my drawer and give it a little snuggle when I find myself missing her.

I noticed a few weeks ago how soon it was getting dark. I wouldn't say I have the season blues but all I can think about is peak time at work. It starts on black Friday and runs til christmas. I go in the dark and come home in the dark. That depresses me.
