I’ve read/listened to the entire Harry Potter at least 20 times since I listen to them on audiobook over and over again. Once I end book 7 I start over again. 😅 Absolutely love it. I still average a book/short story everyday as well (finished Primal Fear by William Diehl today. Starting the Princess Bride now). Nothing compares to the Harry Potter series for me. 📚
the beginning is so funny because as someone who has such a long mental and physical tbr, someone asking you to let them know how a book is when you get to it leaves you frantic 😂 like girl it could be years until i touch that book lol

I felt the exact same about assistant to the villain! I loved it so much, it was such a good, funny, and cozy fantasy! after I read it I was struggling to find something in the same vein because that’s all I wanted to read. I went on reddit to try and find similar books, and it recommended a book called between by LL Starling, and I have to say if you enjoyed assistant to the villain you would loooove Between!! it is easily top 5 books of my year, it’s so good and set in October so perfect for fall! would HIGHLY recommend :’)

If you really want some good Fantasy. I highly recommend The Sword of Kaigen, The poppy war trilogy and Prince of thorns trilogy. They are all darker and more brutal than romantasy and general fantasy.

I have always been a reader, but life gets in the way sometimes and as a reader you will know how sometimes you go thru phases where you just don’t read. Lately it’s been hard to find books I like I have to be specific I normally don’t just pick up anything. That being said you’ve inspired me to get back at it and my boyfriend just order me Powerless by Lauren Roberts and I can’t wait to read it! I found your videos earlier this year, with no interest in books at all, but something about the way you desribed books just made them seem satisfying. I frequent to Universal and love the Harry Potter land, but I didn't know more than a few names and few popular moments. My inspiration to start reading just began with Harry Potter, something I already absorbed myself in a lot physically, so the interest was already there.... The series is amazing!!
