- Business thrives on deep customer insight. Once you find that insight, give it your all and trust yourself to make it big.
Watch one such individual who chases each opportunity with determination and skill- Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Founder, Naukri.com which is India's biggest job portal; speak on 'How to Identify a Business Opportunity'.
Sanjeev Bikhchandani is an Indian businessman, who is the founder and executive vice chairman of Info Edge (India). His is a classic story of spotting an opportunity and chasing it with guts, determination and a little bit of luck.
With no business background, no financial acumen, it was his sheer zeal to fulfil his dreams and a distinct goal of securing independence by the way of entrepreneurship, that got him where he is today. He started his journey from being a IIM Ahmedabad graduate, following which he established two companies Indmark and InfoEdge, India. He is the creator of Naukri.com, India’s first job portal and was selected as a finalist for the Ernst and Young - Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2005.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx
Good businesses are built on deep customer insights about unsolved problems of your prospective customers. A valuable statement - a significant insight.
"Successful businesses are built on deep customer insights" - this is so true and it's made me realize why all big businesses want you to get their credit cards, or loyalty programs. It's to see your buying patterns which will help them to service people better.
It's not about the money you make in the beginning. It's is about building your dream. Doing the right things on a consistent and being affected. When starting your business, you get tax breaks by deducting the cost of running your business. Start you business today! In two of three years, who knows, you could be making two to three times more than you make on your 9 t0 5 if you dedicate your effort to it.

How to figure out the problem in ur niche?
The #1 takeaway for me here is Sanjeev's clarity of thought and it's definitely not easy to achieve. Some people I've seen are pretty natural at this.
Great question. How we identify businesses opportunities?
That makes me think that if we are looking for opportunities in the businesses market our vision has to be already clarified, then opportunities are constantly showing up, but ones it appears never let it go. Get the most out of it.
The business climate is improving and it's a great time to be in business.
Awesome.
I need to observe deep customer insights and pain points.
