My JKU 3.8 loves the intercooled Sprintex, I love the Torque and the whine, 2 years now, running the Stock Sprintex tune, does have a flat spot @ 2800rpm but the throttle controller smoothed that out. Not many dyno's here in Aus that can tune the Jeep JK and those that do charge over $900 just to do a look-see and not change anything. Pretty happy with it. The initial blower seized after 6 weeks and Sprintex exchanged under warranty no problem, did the install myself in my garage over a weekend. The company is run poorly and no support, but if you can turn a wrench yourself there is not much to worry about.
Sucks you had a defective unit. I just ran a 12.2 second 1/4 mile pass in my Sprintex Sps Supercharged 2017 challenger 3.6l...using the track times it puts my car right around 440rwhp give or take a few. Ive had nothing but great interactions with the company from day 1.
I'm looking into supercharging my 2012 challenger what's the reliability of the supercharger I heard from someone else that the Sprintex supercharger has to be sent off for maintenance once or twice in its life
I agree. I reached out to the company for A LOT of questions regarding the supercharger for my 3.8 Jk and they've been nothing but awesome. Cant wait for mine to get here so I can see the results for myself!
Glad you did this video but there has to be a lot more drivetrain loss with 4H vs. 2H than 294 vs. 307 which is barely 4% and you wouldn't even feel a 4% difference but there's a significant/noticeable loss of power in 4H vs. 2H. If you managed to get a 294HP to all 4 in a Rubicon in the best case scenario, I'd expect at least 330HP in just the rear. Also, does the supercharger say SPS on top?
@@crichbin Had to look that up,... Must be to have a lower first, the vast majority of 6 speeds manuals (not the paddle shift malarky) have two overdrives.
@@PiDsPagePrototypes the nsg370 box runs a lower 1st gear and only 1 OD. Even though before I put the SC on I couldn't use the 6th gear I'd unless going down hill. 🤣
@@crichbin - I was going to drop an NVG3550 in to a HyperPak equipped Slant Six Valiant, but since I got a Voyager as a daily, the 3.3 and 3.8 with the blower appeals, and might make a better match to the NVG 'box, esp,. given the VC Valiant (RHD of '66 Plymouth) masses only 1300 kilos, and the 3.3/3.8 is narrower then a 273. So the title is just click bait? In what world would a car guy be disappointed by 300 whp out of a v6?

Im dangerously close to buying this. So all in all was it worth it with the right tune?? Any numbers input would be greatly appreciated also. -Thanks
Read the description!!! Don't buy one. They are junk and the company is the worst customer experience I have ever had

hello, there
why the car get missing in high rpm !! ?
Wow! that's awesome.
are you doing the pull in 2nd gear? 5th gear is the 1 to 1 ratio.
4th. 5th is overdrive.
@@PiDsPagePrototypes nope, 6th is OD. 5th is 1:1 on the manual box

You think you could put the same supercharger in a minivan with the same 3.8l v6...
Asking for a friend
Keep it real it’s still a mini van motor
And I'm here wondering if it'd fit the 3.3,... in my Mini Van! :D
