With love from Cape Town. Inshallah light will prevail over darkness. Lebanese people are brave. May Almighty Allah protect you from the evil of the zionist regime. Just know that Russia and China stand with you and the resistance.
So many Americans are absolutely against what Isnot real is doing. Like the rest of the world, we are disgusted. One thing to note, many democrats refused to go to his speech. The empty seats were filled by actors, like they do at the Oscar’s etc. They are trying to give the appearance that we’re all cheering this on, but we’re not. May God watch over you and protect you. Thank you for your channel!
interesting discussion (despite the dark subject matter I did find myself smiling now and then, watching 3 siblings talking over one another) happened all the time in my family too
On a future episode would you be able to cover the historic background and current role of Jordan in all of this ? It never seems to get much attention, and an explainer would be useful. Thanks for your all your work - it is much appreciated.
The vietnamese won, and i would argue the technological gap between vietnam and the US is pretty similar to that of the lebanese resistance and the temporary entity. The victory took decades, but the vietnamese kept fighting knowing that they could win, and they did.
Haiti also won against napoleon's army, and napoleon doesnt have that many technical losses under his belt. There is no Israeli general with the strategic and tactical mind of napoleon.
Generally the podcast has been great, and I learn an enormous amount, but this one and the last suffer from an unsophisticated understanding of US politics. As a consequence of (un)natural selection, almost all members of Congress either agree with AIPAC or are terrified of it, fearing what happened to Jamaal Bowman and Cory Bush this cycle. If you are secure both in the primary and the general, like AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar (BTW my representative) then you have some latitude to say what you think, but very few are so well positioned. Very few voters have Israel as a topline issue ,and those that do are predominantly pro-Israel. In the foreign policy Blob, expressing dissenting or "creative" views does not lead to career advancement, so mediocrities like Blinken (who I agree is truly a moron) and McGurk can rise to the top, by simply saying what is expected. Biden has always been the kind of politician that AIPAC cultivated, and now he seems to sincerely not understand that he is going around with a sign that says "Kick Me!" pinned to his back. To be fair, while I generally agree that US unconditional support of Israel has been a disaster, especially for Israel, I have no idea what a policy of conditional support would look like as a concrete sequence of carrots and sticks, laid out in real time. Overall, one should not think of the US as a unitary actor with coherent objectives (beyond avoidance of a regional war) and well conceived strategies. The sum is less than the flailings of the parts.
What a nightmare this Israeli regime is.
The unlawfulness and injustice is beyond words.
God Bless the Makdisi family and keep Lebanon safe.

Guys, too many analysts are treating this crisis like a scheduled football rivalry game. I wish other allusions could be used!
'Calm' before the storm? With the genocide going on?
The regional storm, or at least the lebanese one
