I've been waiting for someone to do a bespoke warbands only video, that also doesn't lean into stripping them back to basically become allies' caddies. Our group plays pretty pure bespoke warbands with minimal if any allies as that is how the game is meant to be in our eyes. Thanks for the content Toast.

Flameseekers S tier indeed! :D i was sold not only with how the model looking so beautiful, but when the abilities dropped, i really got into them. all able to use range, the free crit (so important for these guys), and that free move ability.
It’s a simple case of becoming more experienced. They are unfortunately lacking in some key areas when compared to more competitive factions so they had struggled to stay relevant. I have also soured on them based on their abilities which are largely underwhelming. For me, I personally want abilities that are interesting (power less of an incentive). As it stands they largely just use Onslaught, and I found that rather boring the more I play them. The Exemplar is a common Death Ally, however. Unfortunately it’s the nature of content creation. My video was my opinion when I made the video, and as time has passed, it’s simply changed. This can lead to disparity later down the line.
@@JacekBłędowski dont think they have anything to do with the content of this video. :P the joke here is if we say shooting is good, people will play it. so wildercorp are "meh" lol
Disclaimer - I don’t believe in tierlists. Even my own. They are just a bit of fun. I am all for everyone playing what they think is cool, and Trueblades bleed style.
@wargamesontoast yeah I'm new to the hobby and my purchases are dependant on getting extra miles with D&D as a DM.. so a big part of my reason to buy was how cool they look. Plus, my plan is to do a lot of narrative play, so I'm sure I'll have fun with them
Been really disappointed by my entry to warcry, buying the pyre and flood set. Every game has been a complete beatdown. I've been trying the wildercorps and they feel the same level of stress/difficulty, but actually winning a decent number of games (even if I'm rolling injuries for 9 of them most campaign games).
The Pyre and the Flood was a real dud unfortunately. Thankfully, Wildercorps are solid all around. They are squishy though, so you can’t really avoid the injuries in a campaign setting!

Glad to be of assistance!
Great vid! In MY opinion Warcry should only be about bespoke 😊
It would make balancing the game somewhat easier, I’m sure. I do like the complexity of list building in warcry, however!
@@wargamesontoast agreed. but I want more list building choices within the bespoke factions ;) keep up the good work!

Flameseekers are the complete package. I love them. Played them for like 6 months straight after their release, and it was a blast
Awesome vid. Makes me sad to see where the Trueblade ended up tho lol
They need a bit of help competitively, but in a bespoke vs bespoke setting they are pretty ok.
I just saw ur Askurgan trueblades video and you talked about how great they were, what happened to change your mind?

Legend
I only see one legend here.
wildercorp not being S tier is borderline a hate crime.
they are OBSCENELY good in comp still.
Nah man. Totally Lil Bit Crispy.
Source - trust me bro
@@wargamesontoast this message brought to you by The Anti-Shooting Alliance - where if the range is above 3, we do not agree. lol
Damn right :p
What about Kharadron Overlords?

But what about caller+ chaos spawn combo ?
That do be a pretty swanky combo
I just bought the trueblades, THEN I watched this video, and it hurts, haha.

I already know Darkoath and Splintered Fang have been done dirty bc they can't both be top dog.
… you ain’t wrong …

Oof, I hate how common the word 'bespoke' became for Warcry/Kill Team bands...
The air quotes when I say it are there for a reason hahaha
